A starter driving semiconductor switch apparatus energizes and de-energizes a starter according to a command from an outside. A series circuit to which semiconductor switches are connected in series is provided between a battery serving as a power supply and the starter. The starter is energized by bringing all the semiconductor switches into conduction. A voltage or a current at a predetermined point in the series circuit is monitored to make a self-diagnosis on whether the starter is allowed to start and whether there is a failure in the semiconductor switches according to a monitor output. The starter driving semiconductor switch apparatus is thus expected to have a longer useful life by energizing the starter not by using mechanical contacts but by using semiconductor switches.

An electronic control apparatus for driving a boat capable of safely and positively steering the boat to move forward and backward, including: a steering mechanism; a shift actuator for switching neutral, forward, backward; a throttle actuator for driving a throttle valve; and an electronic control unit connected to the steering mechanism, the shift actuator and the throttle actuator, for calculating a movement command value and an output command value for controlling the shift actuator and the throttle actuator, respectively, based on a steering position signal from the steering mechanism, and for controlling the shift actuator and the throttle actuator according to the movement command value, the output command value, feedback signals indicating control states, the electronic control section restrains the output command value until a shift operation of the shift actuator is completed, when the movement command value has been generated for shifting the shift actuator to forward or backward.

Electronic control apparatus for driving a boat

A field communication system may perform wireless communication with field devices. The field communication system may include a connection allowing unit that determines whether or not to allow a connection to the field device by referring a field device list, the field device list listing tag names related to the field devices, an address issuance unit that automatically issues a communication address for the field device if the connection allowing unit allows the connection with the field device, an address management unit that establishes correspondences between the communication addresses and the tag names of the field devices by using the field device list, and a communication unit that transmits data to the field device designated by the tag name, the communication unit receiving the data transmitted from the field device, the data being used to control the field device designated by the tag name.

Field communication system

There is provided a field communication management apparatus capable of setting configuration information segments with certainty without causing a burden, and an inexpedience at the time of an operation for setting. A reception unit receives download information. A setting unit sets individual information segments contained in download information received by the reception unit in a corresponding field device and a gateway itself. A communication limiting unit prohibits communication between the field device and host devices for a period before the individual information segments are set in the field device and the gateway itself, respectively, by the setting unit.
