Gas spectroscopic device and gas spectroscopic method

A gas measurement apparatus includes an optical resonator that resonates light, a light source that generates light for irradiation of the optical resonator, and a photodetector that detects light taken out of the optical resonator. The optical resonator includes a plurality of mirrors, a holding member, a hollow tubular member, a hollow tubular member, and a temperature adjustment instrument. The holding member is lower in thermal expansion coefficient than the hollow tubular member. The hollow tubular member includes a portion higher in thermal conductivity than the holding member and a bellows higher in elasticity than a first portion. The hollow tubular member is equal to or higher than the hollow tubular member in thermal conductivity, and is provided as far as positions of the plurality of mirrors on an inner side of the bellows.

Provided is a carbon isotope analysis device including a carbon dioxide isotope generator provided with a combustion unit that generates gas containing carbon dioxide isotope from carbon isotope, and a carbon dioxide isotope purifying unit; a spectrometer including optical resonators having a pair of mirrors, and a photodetector that determines intensity of light transmitted from the optical resonators; and a light generator including a single light source, a first optical fiber that transmits first light from the light source, a second optical fiber that generates second light of a longer wavelength than the first light, the second optical fiber splitting from the first optical fiber and coupling therewith downstream, a first amplifier on the first optical fiber, a second amplifier on the second optical fiber, different in band from the first amplifier, and a nonlinear optical crystal.

Light generating device, and carbon isotope analyzing device and carbon isotope analyzing method employing same

A laser device for laser resonance ionization includes a wavelength variable grating-type titanium-doped sapphire laser and includes a titanium (Ti) doped titanium sapphire crystal disposed within a resonator. The titanium sapphire crystal is fixedly disposed on a stage. The titanium-doped sapphire crystal can be moved in the optical axis direction by the stage, thereby changing the position of the titanium-doped sapphire crystal. The switching between the wideband mode and the high-output mode can be performed by changing the position of the titanium-doped sapphire crystal.

Laser device, method for controlling laser device, and mass spectroscope

A method and apparatus for analyzing carbon isotopeC is provided. A carbon isotope analyzer including an isotopic carbon dioxide generator to generate isotopic carbon dioxide from a carbon isotope; a spectrometer including an optical resonator having a pair of mirrors, and a photodetector to determine the intensity of light transmitted from the optical resonator; and a light generator including a light source, a first optical fiber to transmit a light beam from the light source, a second optical fiber for wavelength conversion, the second optical fiber branching from the first optical fiber at a point and combining with the first optical fiber at another point downstream of the branching point, and a non-linear optical crystal to generate light having the absorption wavelength of the isotopic carbon dioxide on the basis of the difference in frequency between light beams transmitted through the optical crystal.
