An illumination radiates a visible light or a near-infrared light. A lens images a light from a subject. A beam splitter disperses the visible light and the near-infrared light. A color imaging device images a reflecting light from the subject illuminated with the visible light and includes an imaging device having a red filter. A black-and-white imaging device images the near-infrared light dispersed by the beam splitter. A pixel pitch of the black-and-white imaging device that images the near-infrared light dispersed is larger than a pixel pitch of the color imaging device. A sampling position for the near-infrared light is displaced in a pixel arrangement horizontally or vertically with respect to a sampling position for red in a color image.

Imaging device and imaging method for capturing a visible image and a near-infrared image

In a virtual slide scanner device, a stage supports a prepared slide in which a sample is fixed. A light source illuminates the prepared slide. An imaging device captures an image of the sample formed by an object lens. An X direction shifting mechanism and a Y direction shifting mechanism shifts a light beam in a two-dimensional direction in a light path from the object lens and the imaging device. A shift control unit controls the X direction shifting mechanism and the Y direction shifting mechanism. A signal processing unit produces a synthesized image by synthesizing shifted pixel images captured by the imaging device by shifting the light beam in the two-dimensional direction using the X direction shifting mechanism and the Y direction shifting mechanism.

Imaging scanner

An imaging apparatus includes a shutter drive section, an aperture blade drive section, an ND filter drive section, a light intensity detection section, a memory, and a control section. The shutter drive section opens and closes a shutter for a light receiving surface of a solid state image sensor. The aperture blade drive section drives an aperture blade forming an aperture. The ND filter drive section adjusts the position of an ND filter against the aperture. The control section calculates the exposure control voltage representing an exposure amount from the light intensity signal output from the light intensity detection section, and reads out the F value and the shutter speed corresponding to the exposure control voltage from the exposure control table stored in the memory so as to avoid a partial application state of the ND filter, for controlling respective drive sections.

Imaging apparatus and exposure control method used for the same

A lens driving device includes a focus lens frame, first and second shafts, a rack member, a lead screw and a spring member. One or more lenses are attached to the focus lens frame. The first and second guide shafts are arranged parallel to an optical axis of one or more lenses, inserted into first and second holes of the focus lens frame and guide the focus lens frame. The rack member is supported by the focus lens frame in the vicinity of the first hole. The lead screw meshes with rack teeth formed on the rack member to move the focus lens frame along the optical axis. The spring member presses the rack teeth toward the lead screw to generate reaction force acting from the lead screw toward the rack teeth. A direction in which the reaction force acts crosses a face connecting the first and second guide shafts.

Lens driving device

An image forming optical device to form an image of optical light having prism shaped first and second optical devices. The first optical device has a first interface to pass the optical light into the first optical device, a first reflect interface to reflect the optical light from the first interface and a first output interface to output the optical light from the first reflect interface. The second optical device has a second interface to pass the optical light from the first output interface, a second reflect interface to reflect the optical light from the second interface and a second output interface to output the optical light from the second reflect interface. An optical axis of the optical light passing through the first interface is parallel to an optical axis of the optical light passing though the second output interface.

Prismatic image forming optical device adapted for miniaturization

Light from an object is incident to an image sensing device and converted into an image signal. The image sensing device is exposed to the light by a shutter, provided between the object and the solid-state image sensing device, for a first exposure period and a second exposure period that directly follows the first exposure period. The first and the second periods are the same length in time. Each exposure period for exposing the solid-state image sensing device to the light corresponds to one frame or one filed of the object. A passage of the light that has passed the shutter and incident to the solid-state image sensing device is shifted in a predetermined direction with respect to the solid-state image sensing device at least in the second exposure period. Image signals converted for the first and the second exposure periods are combined to generate a composite image signal.
