A spool is slidably located in a slide hole of a first housing. A second housing forms a servo chamber that is coaxial with the slide hole. A sleeve is slidably located in the servo chamber. A nut is fixed to a piston that is slidably fitted in the sleeve. An electric motor rotates a screw shaft screwed with the nut. The second housing includes an input port and a drain port. A first pressure chamber communicates with the input port. In a balanced state where forces applied to the sleeve from both sides are balanced, a second pressure chamber is blocked from the input port and the drain port by the piston. From the balanced state, when the piston shifts, the second pressure chamber comes into communication with the input port or the drain port.

To easily acquire an image of a tip end portion of a surgical instrument attached to a manipulator arm even when the surgical instrument is bent, a surgical system includes manipulator arms, a manipulation unit, and a controller. The manipulator arms include: a first manipulator arm including an instrument holder holding a first surgical instrument including an instrument bendable portion; and a second manipulator arm including an instrument holder holding an endoscope assembly including an endoscope bendable portion and a camera at a tip end portion of the endoscope assembly. A method of controlling the surgical system controls the endoscope assembly such that the endoscope assembly is bent so as to follow bending of the first surgical instrument that is bent based on an operating command.

Contact-type testing device and environmental test method

A fuel-cell evaluation equipment includes a gas passageway for supplying gas to a fuel cell and a thermostat adapted to accommodate the fuel cell, wherein the gas passageway includes a first temperature regulator adapted to regulate the temperature of gas and a humidity regulator adapted to regulate the humidity of the gas. A thermostatic chamber of the thermostat regulates an inner temperature in the chamber according to a test condition. The thermostatic chamber is provided with a second temperature regulator into which gas flowing in the gas passageway flows. The gas flowing in the gas passageway is supplied to the fuel cell after heat exchange by the second temperature regulator.

Fuel-cell evaluation equipment

A temperature regulator has two headers connected to both ends of a heat receiving tube in which gas flows. The heat receiving tube has a heating element at the outer periphery thereof and a mixer accommodated therein to cause turbulent flow of gas passing through the heat receiving tube. The headers each have fins radially attached thereto, thereby ensuring strength of the headers and improving heat exchange efficiency.

In a the structure of end tape for revealing impending exhausting of a coating film tape supply, the end tape is connected to the core by a first single-sided adhesive tape, and to the coating film tape by a second single-sided adhesive tape, both adhesive tapes having a thickness of not more than 25&#x3bc;. The thickness of the second single-sided adhesive tape is 20% to 70% of the total thickness of the adhered section where the second single-sided adhesive tape, the end tape and the coating film tape overlap, and at least 30% of the thickness of the adhered section where the second adhesive tape is adhered directly to the coating film tape. The thickness of the first adhesive tape is 30% to 70% of the total thickness of the adhered section, where the first adhesive tape and the end tape overlap.

The pipe heater manufacturing process comprises a vacuum making process A for introducing a stainless steel pipe into a furnace and evacuating the inside of the furnace, for example, to a pressure of 0.5 Torr, a pipe end sealing process B for brazing and sealing plugsto both ends of the pipe under vacuum and brazing, a process C for forming a lower insulating layer by repeating several times the steps of screen printing an insulating glass material and baking it in a state in which the two ends of the pipe are sealed, and similar formation process D of a heat generating layer and formation process E of an upper insulating layer. With this method, baking in an oxygen-free state inside the pipe makes it possible to obtain the oxidation-free clean state without high-temperature corrosion on the inside of the pipe having the fluid to be heated flowing therein and to manufacture a pipe heater in which a heating response was improved by forming thin heating layer and insulating layer.
