A heating and blowing apparatus includes a main body housing having an inlet port and a discharge port. An air flow path extends from the inlet pod to the discharge port. A rotatingly driven fan and a heating unit are arranged on the air flow path. A bypass flow path branches off from the air flow path and leads to an ion emission port. An ion generator including a discharge electrode and an opposing electrode is arranged in the bypass flow path Further, the apparatus includes a cover arranged at the ion emission port and having an opening through which ions pass. One or more protrusions are provided on a rear surface of the cover. The protrusions make contact with the opposing electrode such that the cover is grounded through the opposing electrode.

Heating and blowing apparatus

A hair removing device capable of feeding a lotion in association with a hair removing operation. The device has a treatment head that is mounted on a housing and includes a hair removing unit for hair depilation or hair epilation and an applicator for supplying a lotion on a user's skin. Also included in the device is a tank holding the lotion and a lotion supply mechanism for supplying the lotion from the tank to the applicator. The treatment head is formed with an actuator which acknowledges an even of the treatment head coming into an operative condition with the skin and activates a lotion supply mechanism to supply the lotion from the tank to the applicator when such event is acknowledged.

Hair removing device with a lotion applicator

A hair removing device with a lotion applicator includes a housing, a hair removing head mounted to the housing and adapted to be held against a user's skin for hair depilation or hair epilation, an applicator which dispenses a lotion on the user's skin, a tank holding the lotion and a lotion supply mechanism for supplying the lotion from the tank to the applicator. The lotion supply mechanism includes a regulating device, which regulates an amount of the lotion being dispensed from the applicator. The lotion supply mechanism includes a powered pump for expelling the lotion from the tank to the applicator. The regulating device includes a handle for varying pump capacity of the powered pump. The applicator is incorporated into a head frame forming a part of the hair removing head with the head frame being detachable from the housing.

A combination holder and battery charger for holding a battery operated electric appliance and also for recharging the battery in the electric appliance includes a housing having top and bottom surfaces opposite to each other. An auxiliary base stand is operatively disposed on the bottom surface of the housing and capable of assuming one of first and second states. This auxiliary base stand when in the first position has at least a portion thereof protruding laterally outwardly from a contour of the bottom surface of the housing, but that portion of the auxiliary base stand to enable the combination holder and battery charger to be supported stably on a support surface. The combination holder and battery charger may include a wall attachment for securement of the combination charger and holder to a wall surface.
