A driving assist device includes a driving assist controller. The driving assist controller includes an oncoming vehicle detection unit, a prediction determination unit, a predicted travel region setting unit and a stop controller. The oncoming vehicle detection unit is configured to, when a vehicle enters an intersection, determine whether an oncoming vehicle going to enter the intersection is present. The prediction determination unit is configured to, when the oncoming vehicle detection unit determines that the oncoming vehicle is going to enter the intersection, determine whether a course of the oncoming vehicle is predictable based on vehicle behavior of the oncoming vehicle. The predicted travel region setting unit is configured to set a predicted travel region of the oncoming vehicle based on the vehicle behavior. The stopping controller is configured to cause the vehicle to stop outside of the predicted travel region set by the predicted travel region setting unit.

Driving assist device

A driving assist device includes a driving assist controller. The driving assist controller is configured to perform driving assistance when the vehicle changes a course by crossing the oncoming lane. The driving assist controller sets a predicted travel region based on behavior of the oncoming vehicle when the oncoming vehicle is approaching the vehicle that enters an intersection. When the vehicle enters the predicted travel region in a travel path of the vehicle, the driving assist controller determines whether there is a possibility of contact between the vehicle and the oncoming vehicle based on the predicted travel region and the travel path of the vehicle. The driving assist controller causes the vehicle to stop outside of the predicted travel region when there is a possibility of the contact.

A driver assistance device acquires information about vehicle-driving environment ahead of the vehicle to detect an intersection. Upon determining that the vehicle makes a right- or left-hand turn at the intersection, the driver assistance device sets a projected course of the vehicle and recognizes a moving object ahead in a direction in which the vehicle making a right- or left-hand turn is headed. The driver assistance device calculates a movement vector from positional changes of the moving object to calculate a meeting point of a path of the object and the projected course. When an interval between times at which the vehicle and the moving object reach the meeting point is found to fall within a predetermined range, the driver assistance device determines that there is a possibility of interference between the vehicle and the moving object and then causes the vehicle to halt short of the meeting point.

Driver assistance device to be applied to vehicle at times of right- and left-hand turns

A vehicle traveling control apparatus includes a sensor and a traveling control processor configured to function as an identification unit and a tentative identification calculation unit. The identification unit identifies whether the target detected by the sensor is a ghost or a real object based on results of the detection for first number of measurement cycles, and if the target is the real object and a possibility that the target and the vehicle come into contact with each other is present, causes a first traveling control to be executed. The tentative identification calculation unit determines whether the target is the ghost or the real object based on results of the detection for second number of measurement cycles, and when the target is the ghost and the possibility is present, causes a second traveling control to be executed. The second number is less than the first number.

Vehicle traveling control apparatus

A driving assist device includes, a traveling environment information acquisition unit, an intersection determination unit, a vehicle position information acquisition unit, a predicted travel path setting unit, a blinker signal acquisition unit, a traffic division information acquisition unit, a determination unit, and a notifier. The determination unit determines whether directions indicated by three factors of traffic division information acquired by the traffic division information acquisition unit; a blinker signal acquired by the blinker signal acquisition unit, and a predicted travel path predicted by the predicted travel path setting unit match each other. When the determination unit determines that directions indicated by two factors of the three factors match each other and a mismatch occurs between the directions indicated by the two factors and a direction indicated by a remaining factor of the three factors, the notifier issues a notification about the mismatch of the direction indicated by the remaining factor.

A vibration-damping device () of the present invention includes a first attachment member (), a second attachment member (), an elastic body (), and a partition member (). In the partition member, a restriction passage () through which the first liquid chamber () and the second liquid chamber () communicate with each other is formed. The restriction passage includes a first communicating portion () which opens to the first liquid chamber, a second communicating portion () which opens to the second liquid chamber, and a main body flow passage () through which the first communicating portion and the second communicating portion communicate with each other. At least one of the first communicating portion and the second communicating portion includes a plurality of fine holes () which are disposed in a flow passage direction of the main body flow passage. In plurality of fine holes, a flow passage length of a fine hole located apart from the other of the first communicating portion and the second communicating portion in the flow passage direction becomes longer.

Vibration-damping device

A vibration-damping device () of the present invention includes a first attachment member (), a second attachment member (), an elastic body (), and a partition member (). In the partition member, a restriction passage () through which the first liquid chamber () and the second liquid chamber () communicate with each other is formed. The restriction passage includes a first communicating portion () which opens to the first liquid chamber, a second communicating portion () which opens to the second liquid chamber, and a main body flow passage () through which the first communicating portion and the second communicating portion communicate with each other. At least one of the first communicating portion and the second communicating portion includes a plurality of fine holes () which are disposed in a flow passage direction of the main body flow passage. A ratio of a projected area or an opening area of a smallest cross section of the fine holes, which occupies per a predetermined area of the first barrier or the second barrier, gradually decreases as it separates from the other of the first communicating portion and the second communicating portion in the flow passage direction.

A restricted passageway () is provided with a first communication part () which is formed in a first barrier wall () facing a first liquid chamber and opens to the first liquid chamber, a second communication part () which is formed in a second barrier wall () facing a second liquid chamber and opens to the second liquid chamber, and a main body flow path () that is configured to cause the first communication part () and the second communication part () to communicate with each other. At least one of the first communication part () and the second communication part () includes a plurality of fine holes () that pass through the first barrier wall () or the second barrier wall (). A vortex chamber () is disposed in a connection portion with at least one of the first communication part () and the second communication part () on the main body flow path (), figured to form the swirling flow of a liquid depending on a flow velocity of the liquid from the other of the first communication part () and the second communication part (), and is configured to cause the liquid to flow out through the fine holes ().

Vibration damping device

A floor portion () is formed to be inflected to a radial direction inner side from a lower end portion of a channel outer tube portion (), and is disposed apart from and opposing a flange portion () at an outer periphery side of a tube portion () of a dividing member (). The floor portion () is disposed within the tube portion () in an axial direction S, that is, so as to overlap with the tube portion () when viewed from a radial direction. A diaphragm () in the form of an elastic film is adhered by vulcanization to a restriction channel member () so as to cover an aperture in a lower side of the restriction channel member (). A seal portion () is vulcanization-formed integrally with the diaphragm (), so as to cover an inner periphery face of a channel inner tube portion () of the restriction channel member ().
