A battery system comprises an assembled battery in which a plurality of battery cells are connected in series, a temperature sensor for detecting temperature of the battery cells of the assembled battery, and a voltage detecting line connected to a voltage detecting location of the battery cell. Further the battery system fixes the connecting terminal at the voltage detecting location. The connecting terminal fixes the temperature sensor in a thermally coupling state, and electrically connects the voltage detecting line.

Battery system

A first power storage portion stores power generated by a generator in a vehicle, and supplies power to a motor for starting an engine and an electric device in the vehicle. A second power storage portion is connected to the first power storage portion in parallel, and stores power generated by the generator, and supplies power to the electric device in the vehicle. The first power storage portion and the second power storage portion are connected each other in parallel. A first switch is inserted in a path between the first power storage portion and the second power storage portion. A diode is connected in parallel with the first switch such that a cathode side thereof is connected to the second power storage portion side. A second switch is provided between the path and the second power storage portion.

Vehicle power supply device

A first power storage portion is configured to store power generated by a generator in a vehicle, and to supply power to a motor for starting an engine and an electric device in the vehicle. A second power storage portion is connected to the first power storage portion in parallel, and configured to store power generated by the generator, and to supply power to the electric device in the vehicle. A first switch is inserted in a path between those portions. A diode is connected in parallel with the first switch such that a cathode side thereof is connected to the second power storage portion side. The controlling portion monitors a voltage of the first power storage portion and a voltage of the second power storage portion, and detects an abnormal state of the switch by comparing a voltage difference therebetween with a forward voltage drop of the diode.

Power supply device for vehicles

A power supply device comprises a lead-acid battery disposing a plurality of cells in a battery case of a rectangular parallelepiped shape having a pair of facing walls and a pair of end surface walls at the circumference of a rectangular bottom surface plate, and a power storage device connected in parallel to the lead-acid battery. The power storage device has a larger storage capacity by regenerative braking than that of the lead-acid battery, and the power storage device has an external case having a heat radiation plate disposed in a thermally connected state to the facing wall of the lead-acid battery, and the heat radiation plate is thermally connected to the facing wall of the lead-acid battery.

Power supply device for vehicle performing regenerative braking

A vehicle power supply device comprises a first battery connectable to a starter motor, a vehicle load, and a generator, a second battery different from the first battery in electric characteristics, a connecting switch connected between the first and second batteries, and connecting the first and second batteries in parallel in an ON state of the connecting switch, and a control circuit controlling the connecting switch. In the ON state of the connecting switch, the generator charges the first and second batteries. The control circuit controls to change to the OFF state of the connecting switch in a state of providing electric power to the starter motor, or in a state of detecting an open condition including an abnormal state of the first battery and/or the second battery, and to hold the connecting switch in the ON state in a normal state in which the open condition is not detected.

Vehicle power source device and vehicle equipped with the power source device

A vehicle comprises an engine, a starter motor, and a starter battery supplying power to the starter motor, further an auxiliary power storage system connected in parallel to the starter battery, an alternator for generating regenerative power and charging the starter battery and the auxiliary power storage system, an engine room for disposing the engine, and a cabin for disposing the auxiliary power storage system. The auxiliary power storage system comprises a power storage portion for electric equipment connected in parallel to the starter battery through a relay, and a relay controlling circuit configured to carry out the ON control of the relay at power generation of the alternator, and the OFF control of the relay at restarting the engine in a state of idling stop, and further the relay is disposed in the engine room.

Vehicle performing idling stop

An in-vehicle battery system comprises a first power storage module including a lead-acid battery, and a second power storage module including a power storage portion having a higher energy density than that of the lead-acid battery. The lead-acid battery and the power storage portion are electrically connected in parallel to a power generating portion which converts a regenerative energy to electric power. The first power storage module and the second power storage module are provided in an engine room of a vehicle. The second power storage module is disposed more distantly than the first power storage module from an engine.

In-vehicle battery system

A power source apparatus of a car is provided with contactors () connected to an output-side of a battery (); a pre-charge circuit () made up of a series connected pre-charge resistor () and a pre-charge relay (), which is connected with a contactor () to supply auxiliary charge to a capacitor () connected to a car-side of the battery (); and a control circuit () to control the contactors () and the pre-charge relay (). The pre-charge resistor () is connected in parallel with a contactor (), and the pre-charge relay () is connected in series with that contactor (). The control circuit () switches the pre-charge relay () ON to pre-charge the car-side capacitor (), and then switches the contactor () ON to connect the battery () to the car-side.

Car power source apparatus

A massage unit of a massage device moves upward and downward along a backrest of a chair. A pair of therapeutic arms are pivotably supported on a pair of pivot arms projecting forward when viewed from the backrest. Therapeutic fingers on the therapeutic arms have massage balls disposed on them. The pivot arms are driven to move the therapeutic arms in three dimensions, i.e., up and down, left and right, forward and back, so that a patient is massaged by the massage balls. An angle detector detects the angle of the therapeutic arms relative to the pivot arms. The magnitude and change in the output of the detector is used to determine the portion of the patient's body that is being contacted by the massage balls at any time.
