A steam turbine provided with: a rotor; a plurality of movable blades each of which has a movable blade body and a shroud, and which are circumferentially arranged at intervals; a casing that has a recessed section for accommodating the shroud; fins that form clearances from the outer circumferential surface of the shroud; a stator blade support part disposed on the downstream side of the recessed section; a plurality of stator blades circumferentially arranged at intervals; and an annular partition plate that extends from a recessed section downstream surface toward the upstream side thereof. The casing has formed therein a bypass flow passage that communicates a region radially outside of the partition plate and a region between the stator blades.

Axial flow turbine

A rotating machine includes a rotating body rotatably supported in a casing; a rotor blade fixed to an outer peripheral portion of the rotating body; a stator blade arranged on a downstream side in a fluid flow direction with respect to the rotor blade and fixed to an inner peripheral portion of the casing; a sealing device arranged between the inner peripheral portion and a front end of the rotor blade; a swirling flow generation chamber provided in the casing on the downstream side from the sealing device along a circumferential direction of the rotating body; and guiding members provided in the swirling flow generation chamber along a radial direction of the rotating body and in the circumferential direction at predetermined intervals. The swirling flow generation chamber has a wall surface located on the downstream side from an edge of the stator blade on an upstream side.

Rotating machine

A rotating machine includes a casing having a hollow shape; a rotator rotatably supported in the casing; a stator blade fixed to an inner peripheral portion of the casing; a rotor blade fixed to an outer peripheral portion of the rotator while being displaced from the stator blade in an axial direction of the rotator; a sealing device disposed between the inner peripheral portion of the casing and a tip of the rotor blade; a swirling flow generation chamber provided along a circumferential direction of the rotator on a downstream side of the sealing device in the casing in a fluid flow direction; and guiding members provided at predetermined intervals in the swirling flow generation chamber in the circumferential direction of the rotator. The guiding members each include a first guiding surface that is inclined in the circumferential direction with respect to the axial direction of the rotator.

A projection screen control method of one embodiment of the present disclosure includes irradiating a display member with first control light, and irradiating the display member with second control light, in which the irradiating the display member with the first control light and the irradiating the display member with the second control light are performed in sequence. The display member has a visible light transmittance or a visible light reflectance that varies depending on light, and contains a photochromic material, and the first control light and the second control light have different light intensities.

The processor obtains output signals from a first transmitter and a second transmitter which are mutually redundant and respectively reproduce digital broadcast signals based on a common origin signal, and generates a first signal based on the output signal from the first transmitter and a second signal based on the output signal from the second transmitter. A cooling device is capable of protecting an electronically controlled expansion valve in a main refrigerant circuit from the liquid hammer phenomenon due to high-pressure liquid refrigerant when cooling operation starts. An axial turbine includes an upstream turbine stage that includes: a cover disposed at a distal end of an upstream bucket and opposed to an inner wall of an upstream diaphragm outer ring across a gap; and a downstream diaphragm outer ring that is disposed downstream of the upstream turbine stage and that has an inner peripheral-side end wall shaped into a flare. The inner peripheral-side end wall of the downstream diaphragm outer ring has a flare angle formed to be greater than a slant angle of an inner peripheral-side wall of the cover. In the axial turbine, the inner peripheral-side end wall of the downstream diaphragm outer ring is formed to have a meridional shape that has at least one inflection point between the upstream turbine stage and a downstream turbine stage and such that a tangent at the inflection point with respect to a steam flow direction has a positive gradient.
