A controller changes a position and/or orientation of a treatment head by controlling an operation of a robot arm according to an external input. A probe driver changes a projection amount of a diagnostic probe with respect to an irradiator. Further, the controller performs synchronous control to synchronize the probe driver and the robot arm with each other so that the relative position between the irradiator and the distal end of the diagnostic probe changes while holding the distal end position of the diagnostic probe.

Treatment apparatus

A control apparatus detects a misalignment between an irradiation position of a transdermal treatment device and a target irradiation position. When the misalignment is detected, the control unit stops irradiation of the transdermal treatment device or moves the irradiation position closer to the target irradiation position.

Control apparatus

An information integration apparatus includes providers, a middleware, and an application. The middleware executes processes of: assigning a reliability label to data supplied by a device to the provider, the reliability label corresponding to the provider; storing the data in a data storage device; reading the data from the data storage device, and supplying the read data to the application. The application provides, using the data, a display on a display device in a display mode corresponding to the reliability label assigned to the data.

One embodiment of the present disclosure is provided with: an information acquisition portion; an information storage portion; an event extraction section; a region setting section; and a display section. The information storage portion adds, to medical information, a time at which the information acquisition portion acquires the medical information from each of multiple medical devices used in a surgery, and a label for specifying the medical information. In an apparatus for controlling the positioning of an object having a specified point, a first limiter establishes a movable range of the specified point of the object, and limits movement of the specified point of the object within the movable range. The movable range includes a line connecting the position of the specified point of the object and a target position for the specified point of the object. A second limiter limits change of a specified orientation of the object from increasing an angular difference between the specified orientation of the object a target orientation for the specified orientation of the object.

Positioning control apparatus

In arm support apparatus, a longitudinal mount has opposing first and second ends. An elbow locator is provided on the first end of the mount. The elbow locator locates an operator's elbow when the operator's forearm is mounted on the mount. A rotary joint of a multijoint arm has a rotary axis having a vertical component. The mount is rotatably joined to the rotary joint. While the forearm is mounted on the mount so that the elbow of the operator's arm is located by the elbow locator, the rotary axis is located with a distance with respect to the elbow to enable both the first and second ends of the mount to swing about the rotary axis. The distance is set to be equal to or longer than 50 mm.

Arm support apparatus

An apparatus includes a brace being mounted on a person's body part and having a hard fitting surface. The apparatus also includes a load device, a support, a securing member, a brake, a switch device, and a soft film. The load device has a hard receiving surface receiving the fitting surface of the brace. The support movably supports the load device. The securing member secures the fitting surface to the receiving surface and enables the load device to move and follow movement of the person's body part and the brace against resistance applied from the support. The brake limits movement of the load device. The switch device switches operation modes of the apparatus, at least, between a free mode and a limiting mode. The soft film is arranged between the receiving and fitting surfaces for smooth movement of the person's body part on the load device in the limiting mode.

Apparatus for supporting and following movement of a part of person's body

A mouth opening instrument includes an upper member suitable for attaching on an upper jaw side within the mouth of a patient and a lower member suitable for attaching on a lower jaw side. The instrument further includes a connecting section, a control section, and an input section. The connecting section connects end portions of the upper member and the lower member such that a resistance of opening or closing actions of the upper member and the lower member are controllable. The control section controls the resistance of opening or closing actions of the upper member and the lower member. The input section receives an operating state signal indicating an operating state of a dental treatment device. When the operating state signal indicating an operating state of a dental treatment device is inputted, the closing resistance of the upper member and the lower member is set to be greater than that at a time when the operating state signal is not inputted.

Mouth opening instrument and method

A metal mold is prepared, which has a gate, a cavity in which a virtual curve is formed, which forms at least a welding target part of a laser beam transmitting member along the virtual curve, and in which a filling terminal wall is formed along a curve parallel to the virtual curve, and a throttle part for reducing the flow of a resin flowing from the gate toward the cavity, which is connected to the cavity, and whose connection boundary is formed along a curve parallel to the virtual curve. Then, a resin is injected into the gate and a crystalline laser beam transmitting member is molded out of the injected resin using the metal mold.
