A silver halide photographic material having less roller marks and a rapid drying speed while maintaining a high sensitivity, and a development processing method therefor is disclosed. The silver halide photographic material comprising a support having, on at least one side thereof, two or more light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers comprising a binder and a silver halide emulsion having a silver iodide content of 1 mol % or less, wherein the silver iodide content of the emulsion layer closest to the support is less than the silver iodide content of any of the emulsion layers further from the support than the emulsion layer closest to the support.

Method for forming an image

A light-sensitive material and an image recording method using the same are disclosed. The material comprises a support having provided thereon a light sensitive layer containing at least a light-sensitive silver halide, a reducing agent, a polymerizable compound, and a color image forming substance, wherein at least the polymerizable compound and the color image forming substance are encapsulated in the same microcapsules. The material exhibits high sensitivity and excellent stability with time.

Image-recording method comprising heating a light-sensitive material

A heat-developable photosensitive material comprising (1) a silver halide emulsion, (2) a reducing agent, and (3) a binder on a support can be quickly heat developed to produce images having a high density and less fog by using the silver halide emulsion comprising an emulsion of silver halide grains having a distinct double-layered structure, that is, core/shell structure in the grain interior and an average grain size of at least 0.3 .mu.m in combination with (4) a specific compound of formula (I) or (II).

Direct positive photographic light-sensitive materials

Photographic sensitive materials for a color-diffusion transfer process which are particularly useful in a wide variety of temperature and climate conditions are disclosed. The materials are comprised of a red-sensitive emulsion layer; a green-sensitive emulsion layer; and a blue-sensitive emulsion layer on a support wherein at least one of the layers is comprised of a plurality of additional layers. Two or more of the additional layers are direct reversal photographic emulsion layers of higher and lower sensitivity which are not previously fogged. The emulsion layer having lower sensitivity has a gradation of 1.8 or more resulting in a hard tone.
