A liquid crystal display device includes a bracket that is fixed to a side face of a backlight unit and bonded to the rear main surface of a front surface panel by an adhesive portion. The bracket includes: a side wall that is fixed to a the side face of the backlight unit, rises from rear to front along the side face, and extends along a side face of the front surface panel; and a beam portion in front of the side wall. The beam portion has at least a portion that is continuous with the side wall, protrudes to outside the side wall along the rear main surface of the front surface panel, extends along the side face of the front surface panel, and is bonded to the rear main surface of the front surface panel by the adhesive portion.

Liquid crystal display device and bracket

A display includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer between the first substrate and the second substrate, pixel driving electrodes for pixels, the pixel driving electrodes being provided on the first substrate and configured to provide control electric fields to the liquid crystal layer, louver elements, louver element driving electrodes provided on a face facing the first substrate of the second substrate, and an unseparated shield electrode between the louver element driving electrodes and the liquid crystal layer. Each of the louver elements are configured to stand on the second substrate, be sandwiched between one of the louver element driving electrodes and the shield electrode, and change amount of light to be transmitted in accordance with voltage applied across the louver element driving electrode and the shield electrode to change viewing angle.

Display device

Provided is a method of manufacturing a display device including a louver that is capable of changing viewing angle. The method includes: a first step of forming a first electrode layer to drive the louver on a first main face of a first substrate; a second step of forming a resin layer on the first electrode layer; a third step of forming louver grooves to contain electrophoretic particles and dispersion medium in the resin layer; a fourth step of forming a sealing layer having a flat top face on the resin layer having the louver grooves in such a manner that the sealing layer closes the louver grooves; a fifth step of forming color filters on the sealing layer; and a sixth step of forming a second electrode layer to drive the louver on the sealing layer.

Method of manufacturing display device and display device

A conductive film stuck to a transparent conductive film of a liquid crystal panel is protruded along a display surface and the protruded part is formed as non-adhesive so that the protruded part is not stuck to the members other than the liquid crystal panel. The protruded part contacts with a conductor on the front frame side so as to electrically connect the transparent conductive film of the liquid crystal panel and the front frame. When the liquid crystal panel moves, the conductive film can move in a direction in parallel to the display surface by following the liquid crystal panel, which prevents deterioration of the conductive film. Therefore, no excessive force works on the stuck part between the transparent conductive film and the conductive film. It solves the exfoliation issue of the conductive film, and the transparent conductive film can be electrically connected to the front frame stably.

Liquid crystal display device

An audio output device includes two digital microphone units that, upon receiving sound, convert the sound to PDM digital audio signals in which a state is represented by 1 or 0 in each predetermined period. The audio output device generates half-period digital audio signals, which are signals of a half period of the predetermined period, by using first digital audio signals and second digital audio signals that are the digital audio signals converted by the two digital microphones, where the states of the first digital audio signals are each reflected in one of two half periods corresponding to the predetermined period and states of the second audio signals are each reflected in the other half period. The audio output device then converts the half-period digital audio signals, which are generated by the generator, to analog audio signals and outputs the analog audio signals.

Audio control device and audio output device

In an electronic apparatus having a touch panel and a chassis for supporting the touch panel, pair of fixing cushions are fixed to the touch panel along edges, which are parallel to each other, of the touch panel. Pair of vibration absorbing cushions are fixed to the chassis parallel to each other. A fixing flame is disposed between the touch panel and the chassis and fixed to the fixing cushions and the vibration absorbing cushions. Thus, the touch panel is supported against the chassis by the fixing cushions, the fixing frame and the vibration absorbing cushions. When the touch panel vibrates, the vibration absorbing cushions prevent transmission of the vibration from the touch panel to the chassis through fixing cushions and the fixing frame. Accordingly, the vibration of the touch panel hardly exercises a harmful influence on components mounted on the chassis.

Electronic apparatus

An electrically conductive film is placed between a contact finger and an electrically conductive polarizing plate which hold a display panel therebetween, and static electricity accumulated in the display panel is released to a front frame through the electrically conductive film and the finger. This structure makes it possible to prevent deterioration in the display quality of a display device due to static electricity.

Display device with electrically conductive member

Disclosed is a liquid crystal display panel module. The liquid crystal display panel module includes a liquid crystal display panel in which a liquid crystal layer is sandwiched between a pair of substrates facing each other, a printed wiring board which is electrically connected to the liquid crystal display panel, a first frame-shaped chassis which is arranged in front of the liquid crystal display panel, and a second frame-shaped chassis which is electrically conductive and arranged behind of the liquid crystal display panel. In the liquid crystal display panel module, the liquid crystal display panel is held by the first chassis and the second chassis. And, the second chassis and a grounding electrode of the printed wiring board are electrically connected by attaching the printed wiring board to the second chassis.

Liquid crystal panel module and liquid crystal display device using the same

In an electronic apparatus having a touch panel and pair of vibrating elements for vibrating the touch panel, pair of fixing cushions are fixed on a rear surface of the touch panel along right and left edges of the touch panel. The vibrating elements are fixed to the rear surface of the touch panel along upper and lower edges of the touch panel. The fixing cushions are also fixed to a fixing frames and thereby the touch panel is supported by the fixing frame. The fixing cushions are parallel to each other and stably support the touch panel against the fixing frame. Furthermore, the cushions allow the touch panel to greatly vibrate according to expansion and contraction of the vibrating elements.

Electronic apparatus providing a vibrating function to give operation feeling to an operator

A liquid crystal display (LCD) is fixed to an upper housing half by an LCD fixing frame made of a material having a high thermal conductivity. The LCD fixing frame is attached to the upper housing half in contact with a lower surface of the LCD on the opposite side of a display panel which defines an image display plane. A substrate mounted with high heat generating parts such as a CPU is attached to the LCD fixing frame such that the high heat generating parts face the lower surface of the LCD fixing frame. A thermally conductive member is disposed between the high heat generating parts and the LCD fixing frame in contact with the high heat generating parts and LCD fixing frame.
