An electric pump includes a pump portion, a motor portion including a rotor formed in a cylinder form sharing an axis with a rotation shaft provided at the pump portion and a stator formed in an annular form arranged at an outer periphery of the rotor with a clearance between the stator and the rotor, and a driver portion arranged at a position between the pump portion and the motor portion when viewed in a direction orthogonal to an axial direction of the rotation shaft, the driver portion controlling the motor portion, the driver portion arranged in a state where a portion of the driver portion overlaps with at least a portion of the pump portion or with at least a portion of the motor portion when viewed in the axial direction.

Electric pump

According to an aspect of the present invention, an electric pump includes: a housing; an outer rotor; an inner rotor; a base member facing one side surface of the outer rotor and one side surface of the inner rotor; a side plate member, having a facing surface facing the other side surface of the outer rotor and the other side surface of the inner rotor and a non-facing surface opposed to the facing surface; a shaft; a suction port; a discharge port; a negative pressure applied region; a positive pressure applied region; and a relief valve, discharging the fluid from the positive pressure applied region to a non-facing surface side of the side plate member when a pressure applied at the positive pressure applied region exceeds a predetermined value.

An electric pump comprises a case in which a core being enwound by a coil is embedded, a permanent magnet formed in a cylindrical shape, having a central axis being identical to that of the core, and positioned so as to face an inner peripheral side of the core, an outer rotor fixed to an inner peripheral side of the permanent magnet, a rotor unit including the permanent magnet and the outer rotor, an inner rotor having a central axis, which is eccentric from a central axis of the core, so as to rotate; and an inscribed-type pump for carrying out, by means of rotation of the inner rotor, which is engaged with the outer rotor so as to rotate in accordance with rotation of the outer rotor, intake and exhaust of fluids, wherein the rotor unit includes a slide surface extending in an axial direction; the case includes a cylindrical projecting ring portion having an identical central axis to that of the core, and the rotor unit is rotatably supported by the peripheral surface of the cylindrical projecting ring portion at the slide surface.

A valve timing control device incorporates a rotary member which rotates with one of a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine and a camshaft thereof, a rotational transmitting member which rotates with the other of the camshaft and the crankshaft; a vane provided on the rotary member; a pressure chamber formed between the rotary member and the rotational transmitting member, and divided into an advancing chamber and a delaying chamber by the vane; an oil retainer disposed between one axial end of the rotational transmitting member and one axial end of the rotary member; and a pressurized portion disposed between the other axial end of the rotational transmitting member and the other axial end of the rotary member.

Valve timing control device

A valve timing control device comprising, a cam shaft assembled within an engine, a rotational transmitting member having a concave portion, which is mounted around the cam shaft to rotate relative thereto within a predetermined range for transmitting a rotational power from a crank pulley, vanes provided on the cam shaft, fluid chambers formed between the cam shaft and the concave portion, which are separated into advancing and delaying chambers by the vanes, a fluid supplying means for supplying fluid under pressure to a selected one of the advancing and delaying chambers, and a stopper located between a radially inner portion of a side wall of the concave portion and the vane to restrict rotate relative between the rotational transmitting member and the cam shaft.

A valve timing control device comprises: a rotary shaft rotatably assembled within a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine; a rotational transmitting member mounted around the peripheral surface of the rotary shaft so as to rotate relative thereto within a predetermined range for transmitting a rotational power from a crank shaft; a vane provided on either one of the rotary shaft and the rotational transmitting member; a pressure chamber formed between the rotary shaft and the rotational transmitting member, and divided into an advance chamber and a delay chamber by the vane; a first fluid passage for supplying and discharging a fluid to and from the advance chamber; a second fluid passage for supplying and discharging a fluid to and from the delay chamber; a locking mechanism for holding the vane in the middle position of the pressure chamber, when the internal combustion engine starts; and a control mechanism for restricting the rotational transmitting member to rotate around the rotary shaft, when the vane is the middle position and a pressure of either one of the advancing chamber and the delaying chamber is less than a predetermined pressure.

Valve timing device

A variable valve timing controller according to the present invention comprises a locking mechanism for holding the vane in the middle of the pressure chamber until the internal combustion engine starts; and a damper for sealing up one of the advance chamber and the delay chamber and for slowing the relative rotation between the rotational shaft and the rotation-transmitting member. According to the present invention, the locking mechanism maintains the vane in the middle of the pressure chamber until the internal combustion engine starts. Therefore, the vane cannot vibrate even when unstable transitional pressure is supplied to the pressure chamber so that no undesirable noise shall be generated. Further, the valve timing may be further delayed after the internal combustion engine starts since the vane is maintained in the middle of the pressure chamber. Therefore, the valve timing may be consistently optimized not only for easy engine starting but also for the high-speed operation of the internal combustion engine. Thus, the volumetric efficiency can be improved by the inertia of the air intake under high-speed operation of the internal combustion engine.

Variable valve timing controller

An electromagnetically operable proportional pressure control device has a spool which is slidably housed in a cylindrical bore formed in a housing. A pressure chamber defined in the cylindrical bore communicates with an inlet port through a diametrically reduced bore and an outlet port through a return hole, a pilot valve and a return passage. The pressure difference produced between the inlet port and the pressure chamber causes the spool to move establishing a direct fluid communication of both ports. An oil flow from the inlet port into the pressure chamber is smaller than an oil flow from the pressure chamber to the return passage.

Electromagnetically operable proportional pressure control valve

A valve timing control device for controlling the opening/closing timing of the intake valve or exhaust valve incorporates a valve opening/closing rotary shaft, a rotor provided on the rotary shaft, a timing pulley for receiving rotational power from a crank pulley through a timing belt, a rotation transmitting member provided within the timing pulley and mounted around the rotary shaft to rotate within a predetermined range, a plurality of vanes provided on the rotor or the rotation transmitting member, a fluid chamber formed between the rotor and the rotation transmitting member and separated into advancing chambers and delaying chambers by the vanes, a first fluid passage communicating with the advancing chambers, a second fluid passage communicating with the delaying chambers, and a cooling mechanism for cooling the rotation transmitting member and/or the timing pulley.

A tandem pump apparatus is featured having a main suction passage connected to a fluid source. The main suction passage branches into first and second suction passages which, in turn, feed into first and second pumps. Each pump discharges a portion of the fluid to a return passage that is fluidly connected to the suction port of each respective pump. In each return passage, a return control valve is disposed to control the amount of fluid returned to the suction port. The tandem pump featured in this invention exhibits increased efficiency and decreased noise.

Tandem pump apparatus

An electromagnetic proportional pressure control valve includes a housing having at least one fluid inlet port and fluid outlet port and a passage for communicating between the ports. A spool is slidably accommodated in the housing for opening and closing the passage between both the ports. A plunger device is housed in the housing to define a pressure chamber, and includes a pilot valve. A return passage is arranged through the plunger device between the pressure chamber and the outlet port. The opening and closing of the return passage is controlled by the pilot valve. A restricting device restricts a fluid communicating between the inlet port and the pressure chamber. An electromagnetic device has an electromagnetic coil and a core of magnetic material to generate electromagnetic force for allowing the pilot valve to move so as to control the opening and closing of the return passage. Lastly, the pressure control includes a device for preventing the pilot valve from moving as a result of fluctuations in the fluid pressure in the pressure chamber regardless of the electromagnetic force generated by the electromagnetic device.

Electromagnetic proportional pressure control valve

A pump apparatus includes a pump having a suction port and a discharge port for discharging the fluid sucked from the suction port, a return passage connecting the discharge port with the suction port for returning a portion of the fluid discharged from the discharge port into the suction port, a return flow control valve disposed in the return passage for controlling an amount of the portion of the fluid returned to the suction port through the return passage and an expanded chamber formed in the return passage and located between the suction port and the return flow control valve. The expanded chamber has a sectional area larger than that of the return passage.

Pump apparatus

In an oil pump having an inner rotor and an outer rotor supported in a housing, pressure in a pumping chamber whose volume is at maximum presses the inner rotor inwardly and the outer rotor outwardly. An oil groove which communicates with a discharge port via a lubricating groove is formed in an inner surface of the housing at the circumferential position of the pumping chamber whose volume is at maximum. The oil groove has axial sealing surfaces.

A fluid pressure driving system for a vehicle includes a reservoir tank in which an amount of fluid is stored, a variable capacity oil pump sucking the fluid from the reservoir tank and discharging the resultant fluid, a control device for adjusting a quantity of the fluid discharged from the variable oil pump, and a distributor valve having an inlet port for receiving the fluid from the variable capacity oil pump. The distributor valve discharges a fixed amount of the fluid and the remaining amount of the fluid from a first outlet port thereof and a second outlet port thereof, respectively. A first passage connects the first outlet port of the distributor valve and the reservoir tank. A second passage connects the second outlet port of the distributor valve and the reservoir tank. A power steering device is associated with a steering wheel and disposed in the first passage. A hydraulic motor is disposed in the second passage, and a cooling fan is mounted rotatably on the hydraulic motor.

Fluid pressure driving system

A hydraulic motor for driving a hydraulically driven fan system in a combustion engine includes both an oil pump and water pump in combination. The pump body and a pump cover together define a hollow chamber within which a shaft is rotatably mounted, the shaft supporting an oil pump rotor. A thrust plate in the hollow chamber coaxially aligns the pump body and pump cover and supports a first bearing for the shaft. The water pump is mounted in the pump cover and includes an impeller mounted on the shaft.
