The additive manufacturing system includes a container having an upper part being opened, a base part being vertically movable, and defining a space therein, the space being fillable with sand as a base material of a molded object, an additive manufacturing apparatus forming a green body of the molded object layer by layer in the container while causing the base part to move down, and a microwave oven defining a space therein, the space configured to house the container including the green body, the microwave oven configured to irradiate the container with a microwave to obtain the molded object, wherein a part or a whole of the container is made of a dielectric.

A device for damping runout vibration of a rotating shaft system at least including a rotating shaft and a rotating body rotatably supported by the shaft. A ring () is provided outside a bearing () fitted on a rotating shaft with a clearance between the ring and an outer ring of the bearing. A vibration damping mechanism includes, in order to suppress runout vibration of a rotating shaft system from the radially outside of the ring (), a blade spring () compressed by a preload and a stopper () for setting an operation limit of the blade spring.

When a sintered body of ceramic is shot-blasted at normal temperatures to plastically deform the crystal structure of the shot-blasted surface to apply residual stress and is heat-treated to recrystallize fine cracks, dislocated cells in the grain boundary are formed, crystals are finely divided, and the fracture toughness is significantly improved. When the sintered body of ceramic is a thin product, an effective toughening can be attained by shot blasting both the front and back sides. After heat treatment, mechanical strength is significantly improved by removing a part of the modified surface layer by an abrasion treatment.
