An electric rotating machine for a vehicle capable of reducing influence of leakage flux on a turning angle detector as much as possible and detecting a turning angle more accurately is provided. The electric rotating machine for a vehicle includes: a rotor corethat is fitted to a rotary shaft; a stator corethat is concentric with the rotor coreand disposed on the outside of the rotor core; and a resolveracting as a turning angle detector that is disposed on one shaft end of the rotary shaft; in which the rotary shaftitself is constituted to be magnetic flux interrupting means made of a non-magnetic material.

Stator of electric rotating machine

A rear-end bearing accommodating portion that has a floored cylindrical shape is formed integrally on a rear bracket. A brush apparatus is mounted to the rear bracket by mounting a slinger portion onto an end portion of a shaft so as to cover slip rings. A rectifier is mounted to the rear bracket in close proximity to the rear-end bearing accommodating portion and the slinger portion. A rolling bearing is configured into a creep preventing bearing in which a resin band is mounted into a ring-shaped recessed groove that is recessed into an outer circumferential surface of an outer ring. A first slit is disposed through the slinger portion so as to be positioned so as to face downward when mounted to a vehicle and so as to communicate between an internal portion and an external portion of the slinger portion.

Automotive dynamoelectric machine

Stator terminals are fastened between head portions and coupling seats in a state of surface contact by screwing relay members onto external screw thread portions of output terminal bolts. Three-phase wire terminals are fastened in a state of surface contact to end surfaces of the relay members at opposite ends from the coupling seats by screwing nuts onto the external screw thread portions of the output terminal bolts. In addition, insulating tubes are interposed between the relay members and extraction apertures so as to cover outer sides of the relay members.

A vehicular starting and charging rotary electric machine includes a rotor, a stator, brackets, a brush, and a rotation detection sensor. The rotor has a field winding. The stator has a stator winding. The brackets supports the rotor and the stator. One end of the brush is brought into contact with the rotor to supply field current to the field winding of the rotor. The rotation detecting sensor is arranged coaxially with a rotating shaft of the rotor, for detecting a state of the rotor and functioning as a motor or a generator. The magnetic pole position detecting sensor is integrally fixed to the bracket.

Vehicular starting and charging rotary electric machine

An accommodating space is formed on an end surface at a first axial end of a rear bracket so as to envelop an end portion region of a shaft, and a brush holder and a sensor unit are disposed in the accommodating space. A brush connector unit and a sensor connector unit are disposed so as to project out of the accommodating space, and electrical connection between brushes and the brush connector unit and signal connection between the sensor unit and the sensor connector unit are performed inside the accommodating space.

Electric rotating machine

A rotary electric machine for being mounted on an internal combustion engine of a vehicle or the like. The rotary electric machine includes a rotation shaft rotatably supported by a bracket; a rotor fixed to the rotation shaft; a stator which has a stator core disposed opposite to the outer periphery of the rotor and a stator winding mounted onto the stator core, and which is supported by the bracket; and a pulley engaged with an end of the rotation shaft to rotate integrally with the rotation shaft. The pulley and the rotation shaft are mutually engaged to form an engagement portion. The engagement portion includes a regulation means for regulating-sliding movement between the rotation shaft and the pulley in their peripheral direction.

Rotary electric machine

Pole core members of a rotor are fitted on a rotary shaft with claw-shaped magnetic poles engaged with one another from front and rear sides. Each of magnet mounting members for holding magnets against side surfaces of each magnetic pole has magnet retaining portions on both sides and a platelike middle portion. Located between two adjacent claw-shaped magnetic poles, each magnet produces a magnetic field oriented in a direction opposite to the direction of a magnetic flux formed between the adjacent claw-shaped magnetic poles. The claw-shaped magnetic pole has a stopper portion at its extreme end on an inclined inside surface. The magnet mounting member carrying the magnets in the magnet retaining portions is mounted on each claw-shaped magnetic pole with the middle portion of the magnet mounting member situated against the inclined inside surface of the magnetic pole, and a backup ring is fitted inside the magnet mounting members.

An automotive alternator includes a case, a rotor disposed inside the case, the rotor including a rotor coil and claw-shaped magnetic poles covering the rotor coil, the claw-shaped magnetic poles being magnetized into North-seeking (N) and South-seeking (S) poles by a magnetic flux, a stator including a stator core provided with slots and a stator winding mounted to the stator core, brushes for supplying electric current from an electric power supply to the rotor coil, and a brush holding assembly secured to the case, the brush holding assembly being provided with a cover and a holding portion for holding the brushes within the holding portion, an open portion for removal and insertion of the brushes being formed at a position on the case facing the cover.

During molding of a brush holder which is a resin-molded part in an alternator, a capacitor component is molded integrally with a capacitor positive electrode terminal and a capacitor negative electrode terminal joined by crimping to a positive terminal and a negative terminal, respectively. The capacitor component is thereby embedded in a first resin portion.

An alternator comprises a brush holding assembly holding brushes within a holding portion and being provided with a cover capable of being opened to remove the brush; and a cap which is disposed on an open portion for removal and insertion of the brush, the open portion being formed at a position on the case facing the cover. The removal and insertion of the brush is performed through the open portion with the open portion opened.
