An electro-hydraulic power steering apparatus in which a control device, a motor and a pump are integrated. The apparatus includes a first housing, a second housing, a control device surrounded by the first and second housings, a motor disposed on a side of the first housing and a pump disposed on a side of the second housing. The motor includes a rotor, a stator and a frame. The rotor has a first bearing supported by the first housing. The frame includes an inner circumferential face into which a stator core is press fitted and receives a second bearing of the rotor. The frame is secured to the first housing by a first clamp screw. The first housing and the second housing are secured by a second clamp screw. The first and second clamp screws are tightened from the hand of the frame.

Electro-hydraulic power steering apparatus

A method for manufacturing a rotation angle detector is provided. An insulator is mounted on a sensor core. A plurality of winding slackening pins are disposed at predetermined positions between a plurality of teeth and a plurality of terminal pins so as to project out of the a first surface side of the insulator. A first and second conductor wire are wound so as to dispose a first and second lead wire portion of each conductor wire wound on the teeth under tension between the teeth and the terminal pin by hooking each wire lead portion onto a winding hooking pin and a winding slackening pin. The winding slackening pins are removed so that the first and second lead wire portions have a predetermined amount of slack.

Method of manufacturing a rotation angle detector

A rotation angle detector includes a stator core () comprised of a plurality of core sheets () each having plural core members () each including a tooth and a yoke portion () disposed in a strip-like array with adjacent core members being coupled to one another by coupling means () at yoke end portion. The core member is laminated. The stator core is shaped into an annular form by bending the core members at coupled portions so that the tooth portions extend centrally while capable of extending substantially linearly upon expansion thereof. An exciting winding () and output windings () of n phases are wound on the tooth portions. A rotor core () is disposed rotatably relative to the stator core such that gap permeance between the rotor core and the tooth portions changes sinusoidally as a function of the rotation angle.

Rotation angle detecting apparatus

A permanent magnet motor having a rotor with permanent magnets disposed on the outer circumferential face at a predetermined interval in a peripheral direction, and a stator with magnetic pole pieces arranged at a predetermined spacing in the peripheral direction, the magnetic pole pieces being opposed to the permanent magnets, the stator surrounding the rotor, wherein auxiliary grooves are provided on a face of each magnetic pole piece of the stator opposed to the permanent magnets of the rotor, and a skew having an electric angle in a range of 61&#xb0; to 84&#xb0; is provided relatively between the rotor and the stator.
