Provided is a coating composition capable of forming a coating film which exhibits excellent durability and is suitable for repair. It is a coating composition containing a resin component and a pigment, in which a linear expansion coefficient at a temperature equal to or less than a glass transition temperature of a nonvolatile component is 3.2&#xd7;10/K or less.

A problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a method for forming a multilayer coating film, the method being capable of achieving excellent finished appearance and excellent corrosion resistance without affecting electrodeposition coatability even when a part or all of the water-washing step is omitted after chemical conversion treatment, and to provide a coated article. Multi-layered coating film formation method

An object of the present invention is to find a primer coating composition for aluminum wheels, the composition having excellent stability and being capable of forming a coating film having excellent corrosion resistance, edge corrosion resistance, and filiform corrosion resistance. The invention provides (1) a primer coating composition for aluminum wheels comprising a copolymer resin (A), and 1 to 30 parts by mass of fumed silica (B) and 0.1 to 10 parts by mass of a magnesium-containing phosphoric acid-based compound (C), per 100 parts by mass of the total solids content of the copolymer resin (A). Coating composition for cans

A magnetic head comprising a magnetic path and a vertically magnetizable film. The magnetic path contains a first gap facing a magnetic recording medium and a second gap. The vertically magnetizable film is formed across the second gap on the principal plane or outer circumference of the magnetic path.
