A vehicle-mounted relay device for relaying Ethernet frames includes a plurality of PHY units corresponding to a plurality of vehicle-mounted devices, a switch unit to which the plurality of PHY units are connected, and a control unit configured to monitor operating states of the plurality of PHY units. The plurality of PHY units include a predetermined PHY unit whose operating state switches between a sleep state and an active state in response to reception of a predetermined control signal that differs from the Ethernet frames. When an Ethernet frame to be transmitted from the predetermined PHY unit has been detected during a period where the predetermined PHY unit is in the sleep state, the control unit executes switching control to switch the predetermined PHY unit to the active state.

A power conversion system includes a converter, a current sensor, and a motor ECU. The converter is configured to boost a voltage by operating at a set carrier frequency. The current sensor detects a current flowing through the converter. The motor ECU executes control for protecting the converter. The motor ECU estimates a temperature rise amount of the converter according to at least one of the carrier frequency and a voltage ratio before and after boosting the converter, and a detected value of the current sensor, and executes control for suppressing the current flowing through the converter in a case where an integrated value of the temperature rise amount reaches a threshold.

A switch device includes a plurality of communication ports; a switch unit configured to relay a frame, which has been transmitted from a function unit and to which information including an ID of a VLAN is added, to another function unit via a communication port; and a duplication unit configured to, when the diagnosis device is connected to another switch device, duplicate the frame to be relayed via a designated communication port among the plurality of communication ports, and generate a duplicate frame for diagnosis that is a frame obtained by adding, to a duplicate frame obtained through the duplication, specific information indicating that the duplicate frame for diagnosis should be transmitted to the diagnosis device. When it is confirmed that a user exists based on an image of the situation outside a vehicle which is captured using a camera and a proximity sensor detects a fact that the user is approaching based on, for example, a putting of a hand of the user over the proximity sensor, a control device causes a ramp to be extended. As such, a user sitting in a wheelchair can cause the ramp to be extended by approaching the proximity sensor, such as the putting of the user's hand over the proximity sensor such that the user sitting in the wheelchair does not have to press an extension/storage button provided on the vehicle to cause the ramp to be extended.

An electric vehicle includes a main battery, a power converter, a relay, and a controller. The power converter is a device that converts power of the main battery to drive electric power for a motor. The power converter includes a voltage sensor that measures an input voltage. The relay is connected between the main battery and the power converter. The controller stores an output value of the voltage sensor as an offset value at time after a vehicle main switch is turned on and before the relay is closed. The controller controls the power converter based on a value acquired by subtracting the offset value from the output value of the voltage sensor after the relay is closed. The controller opens the relay when a value acquired by subtracting the offset value from the travel-time output value exceeds a first voltage threshold.
