A gas safety device includes: flow path through which a gas flows; ultrasonic sensor for measuring a flow rate of the gas flowing through flow path; flow rate calculator that calculates a flow rate measurement data pieces from a measurement value of the flow rate measured by ultrasonic sensor; and leakage detector that detects a minor leakage of the gas. The gas safety device further includes: pulsation recognizer that recognizes that pulsation is occurring when a fluctuation in the flow rate measuring data pieces calculated by flow rate calculator is greater than or equal to a predetermined value; and pulsating flow rate corrector that corrects, when pulsation recognizer determines that the pulsation is occurring, the flow rate measurement data piece by a predetermined value. Furthermore, when pulsation recognizer determines that the pulsation is occurring, leakage detector determines whether a leakage is present using the flow rate measurement data piece corrected by pulsating flow rate corrector.

Gas safety device

A gas meter includes a meter entrance that allows a fluid to flow in, a meter exit that allows the fluid to flow out, and a flow rate measurer that measures a flow rate of the fluid. In addition, the flow rate measurer includes a plurality of flow rate measuring units having the same shape and composed of a flow passage portion with a rectangular cross section shape on the outer side and a sensor portion disposed on one face of the flow passage portion. The plurality of flow rate measuring units are integrally configured by bonding faces having no sensor portion so as to serve as bonding faces of the flow rate measuring units.

Gas meter

A measurement unit includes a fluid inlet to let a fluid flow in, a fluid outlet to let the fluid flow out, and a single flow path connecting the fluid inlet with the fluid outlet. The measurement unit further includes a plurality of partition boards and a measuring instrument. The plurality of partition boards are disposed along a current of the fluid and between facing side surfaces of the flow path. The plurality of partition boards define M flow path segments (where M is an integer of 2 or greater) between the facing side surfaces. The measuring instrument measures a flow rate of the fluid flowing through N successively adjacent flow path segments (where N is an integer of 1 or greater and less than M).

Measurement unit and flow rate meter

A pigment dispersion is disclosed which comprises a pigment dispersant, a nonaqueous solvent and optionally a binder resin, wherein the pigment dispersion comprises as the pigment dispersion at least 0.2 parts by weight of a modified novolak resin (A) relative to 100 parts weight of the pigment, the modified novolak resin (A) having an aromatic ring and a ring structure given by ring opening of an epoxy group by a carboxyl group of a hydroxycarboxylic acid or a derivative thereof. An ink composition for offset printing containing the pigment dispersion is also disclosed.

Pigment dispersion and offset printing ink composition using the same

A pigment dispersion is disclosed which comprises a pigment, a pigment dispersant, and optionally a binder resin, wherein the pigment dispersion comprises as the pigment dispersion at least 0.2 parts by weight of a modified novolak resin (A) and/or a graft copolymer (B) relative to 100 parts by weight of the pigment, the modified novolak resin (A) and the graft copolymer (B) each having an aromatic ring and a ring structure given by ring opening of an epoxy group by a carboxyl group of a hydroxycarboxylic acid or a derivative thereof. An ink composition for offset printing containing the pigment dispersion is also disclosed.
