A support () that is substantially cylindrical so as to be received by a disk hole (NA) and has a positioning portion () on a circumference adjacent to a first axial end is provided with a concave portion () of which both ends open to the circumference along a radial direction. A first engaging portion () protrudes from around the circumference at which a first axial end of the concave portion opens substantially opposes to the positioning portion with a gap equal to or more than a thickness of an optical disk (N). A moving member () is disposed in the concave portion in a manner movable along a radial direction of the support. A second engaging portion () protrudes on an end of the moving member at a position corresponding to a second axial end of the concave portion.

Holding device and disk device for recording and reading information

In-vehicle electronic equipment includes an operation display panel, an opening-closing mechanism, a housing unit, a photosensor, and a control device. The opening-closing mechanism selectively moves the operation display panel to an open position and a closed position. The housing unit is configured to house an electronic device together with a connector connected to the electronic device. The photosensor detects whether an electronic device is housed in the housing unit. The control device controls the opening-closing mechanism. When the photosensor detects that no electronic device is housed in the housing unit while the operation display panel is in the open position, the control unit controls the opening-closing mechanism not to bring the display unit to the closed position.

A connecting-side connector is connected to a receiving-side connector. A main frame supports the receiving-side connector in such a manner that the receiving-side connector is movable in a connection direction. The amount of advancement when the unloading is completed is kept constant.

A main frame supports a receiving-side connector to which a connecting-side connector is connected in movable manner toward inside. A holding unit holds the receiving-side connector that is moved to the inside. A connector biasing unit applies a biasing force toward outside to the receiving-side connector. A hold releasing unit releases a hold by the holding unit, and moves the receiving-side connector to the outside by the biasing force. A pressing-force applying unit applies, when the receiving-side connector is not moved by the biasing force, a pressing force for ejecting the receiving-side connector to the receiving-side connector.

Provided is a disk carrying mechanism, in which a guide member () is installed on a disk guide block () and the disk guide block () with the guide member () being disposed on an opposite side of a roller () with a carrying route therebetween. The guide member () is formed as a ridge extending in a direction orthogonal to a direction of a carrying route and inclined from a center part to a peripheral edge part of a disk so that its height can be increased.

A stepping motor driving system includes: a stepping motor that rotates at a predetermined angle according to a driving pulse signal, a vibration detector that detects vibration to output a vibration signal, and a stepping motor control unit that controls the driving pulse signal, which is applied to the stepping motor, to rotate the stepping motor at the predetermined angle. The driving pulse signal includes a start-up current which is required for rotating the stepping motor at a unit angle and a holding current which maintains a rotational angle of the stepping motor rotated by the start-up current. The stepping motor control unit changes the level of the holding current according to the vibration signal which is outputted from the vibration detector.

It is an object of the present invention to provide an improved disc changer adapted to exactly detect whether a magazine storing a plurality of discs has been attached in the disc changer. When a magazine storing a plurality of discs is inserted into the disc changer, a detection arm and a lock arm both serving as moving members are moved by such an insertion. The lock arm, by virtue of the movement of itself, engages into an insertion groove provided on the backside of the inserted magazine and locks the magazine on the disc changer. The detection arm, by virtue of the movement of itself, actuates a lock detection switch. Here, since the detection arm and the lock arm are both urged by an urging spring, it becomes possible to exactly detect the attachment of the magazine by allowing the moving members locking the magazine on the disc changer to actuate the lock detection switch.

A playback mechanism of a recording medium is provided, by which a period of time required until information recorded in the recording medium is read out after the recording medium is inserted in an instrument body can be shortened and the size of the playback mechanism can be reduced. The mechanism includes an instrument body, conveying unit having a roller arm and disc guide, clamp playback unit having a locking pin, and locking member. The clamp playback unit is movable relatively to the instrument body. The locking member locks the locking pin to fix the clamp playback unit. The locking member releases the locking of the locking pin to make the clamp playback unit movable relatively to the instrument body. When the clamp playback unit clamps a CD, the roller arm and disc guide part from the CD, thereby the locking by the locking member is gradually released.

A combination gear having a gear slipping-off preventing structure with an easier combining operation is provided, which includes: a first gear having a shaft hole; a second gear, having a shaft hole, to coaxially couple with the first gear so as to constitute the combination gear; and a shaft to be inserted into the shaft holes of the respective first and second gears, wherein either one of the first and second gears is provided with a coupling male-portion having a securing projection and the other of the first and second gears is provided with a coupling female-portion having a securing recess so that the first and second gears combine together by coupling the coupling male-portion with the coupling female-portion with an engagement between the securing projection and the securing recess. And, a relief portion to permit a relief of an end portion of the securing projection on coupling the coupling male-portion with the coupling female-portion is also provided inside the securing recess.

Combination gear having a gear slipping-off preventing structure

A feeding screw is rotatably mounted on a chassis of a recording medium reproducing device. A half nut having a semicircular sectional shape is mounted on an optical pickup carriage. The half nut has at least one thread which comprises a thick central portion to be engaged with the feeding screw and thin both side portions not to be engaged with the feeding screw. The optical pickup carriage is fed by a rotation of the feeding screw, being engaged with the half nut.
