A method for producing a weakly acidic hypochlorous acid aqueous solution comprises (A) an ion-exchange step for generating molecular hypochlorous acid dissolved in a mixed solution by mixing a raw material aqueous solution composed of an aqueous solution of a metal salt of hypochlorous acid with an acidic ion-exchange resin to perform ion exchange between the metal ions and the hydrogen ions, and (B) a separation step for separating the acidic ion-exchange resin from the mixed solution after the ion-exchange step and obtaining weakly acidic hypochlorous acid aqueous solution in which molecular hypochlorous acid is dissolved.

The dental restorative material of the present invention is a dental restorative material that contains a resin matrix and an inorganic filler in an amount of 25 to 1,000 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the resin matrix, and in the dental restorative material, the resin matrix contains a polyurethane resin, and the inorganic filler has an average particle diameter of 0.001 to 100 &#x3bc;m. According to the present invention, a dental restorative material that has a high bending strength and a high surface hardness, and is excellent in transparency and cutting workability, and a resin material for dental cutting work containing the same can be provided.

[Problems] A dental adhesive composition containing an acid group-containing polymerizable monomer, that can be used as a dental adhesive material or a primer. The dental adhesive composition has excellent durability of adhesion exhibiting further improved adhering strength and durability of adhesion enabling teeth to be more strongly adhered to a composite resin or a prosthetic over extended periods of time. [Means for Solution] The dental adhesive composition contains a polymerizable monomer and ions of an element of the Group IV as basic components, at least 10 mass % of the polymerizable monomer being a polymerizable monomer having a hydrogenphosphate diester group, such as bis(2-methacryloyloxyethyl)hydrogenphosphate or 2-methacryloyloxyethylphenyl hydrogenphosphate, and the content of ions of the element of the Group IV such as titanium ions or zirconium ions in the composition being 0.1 to 1.0 in terms of mole ratio to the hydrogenphosphate diester groups of the polymerizable monomer that has the hydrogenphosphate diester group.

Dental filling/restoration kit

A mucosal adjustment material comprising a combination of a powdery material (a) and a liquid material (b), characterized especially in that a noncrosslinked (meth)acrylic polymer powder having a Tg in the range of 0-60&#xb0; C., e.g., polybutyl methacrylate, is used as the powdery material and a liquid polymer which has a mass-average molecular weight of 1,000-10,000 and in which the content of oligomers having a molecular weight of 500 or lower is 10 mass % or lower is used as the liquid material. Such powdery material and liquid material are kneaded together to prepare a paste, which is applied to a denture base and used as a temporary relining material. This mucosal adjustment material in a paste form is reduced in the amount of ingredients eluted from the material during use in the mouth. In an ordinary use period, the relining material retains its initial flexibility and does not deteriorate the denture base.

A photopolymerization initiator comprising (A) an &#x3b1;-diketone compound such as camphorquinone, (B1) an aliphatic amine compound such as triethanolamine or N-methyldiethanolamine, (B2) an aromatic amine compound such as ethyl p-dimethylaminobenzoate or N,N-dimethyl p-toluidine, and (C) a triazine compound substituted with a trihalomethyl group, such as 2,4,6-tris(trichloromethyl)-s-triazine or 2-phenyl-4,6-bis(trichloromethyl)-s-triazine. The photopolymerization initiator remains stable against the environmental light such as the indoor illumination light from a fluorescent lamp or the dental light illuminating the interior of the oral cavity, is excellently handled, is quickly cured by the irradiation with an intense light emitted from a light irradiator for polymerization, provides a cured body having excellent properties, can be stably preserved even at high temperatures, and is very useful as a dental composite resin.

Photopolymerization initiator

A dental adhesive containing an acidic group-containing radically polymerizable monomer, a non-acidic radically polymerizable monomer, a chemical polymerization initiator and a filler, as well as a 2,4-diphenyl-4-methyl-1-pentene. When the dental adhesive is used for adhering a crown restorative to the tooth, an excess of cement swelling from the surface of adhesion can be favorably removed, the curing time can be suitably adjusted without decreasing the strength of adhesion to the tooth, and a change in the color tone of the cured body can be effectively suppressed.

A dental catalyst for chemical polymerization comprising an acidic compound, an organic peroxide such as cumene hydroperoxide, and aryl borate compound such as sodium tetraphenylborate, but without substantially containing amine compound. This catalyst is chemically highly stable, is easy to handle, is highly active, is less likely to be impaired by polymerization, and does not cause the cured product to be tinted or discolored, and is very useful for the dental restorative.
