An optical scanner includes: a light source that emits plural laser-beams; a deflecting section that deflects the laser-beams; a first optical-element that reflects the laser-beams deflected at the deflecting section and converges the laser-beams in a slow-scanning direction, and that can adjust positions, in the slow-scanning direction, of the laser-beams that the first optical-element reflects; a second optical-element that converges, in the slow-scanning direction, the laser-beams reflected at the first optical-element, and that can adjust scan line tilt of the laser-beams that the second optical-element reflects; and a planar reflecting member provided on an optical path between the first and second optical-elements, and reflects, toward the second optical-element, the laser-beams converged in the slow-scanning direction, the reflecting member having an adjusting mechanism that can adjust an angle of incidence in the slow-scanning direction of the laser-beams that are incident on the second optical-element.

Optical scanner and image forming device

An image formation apparatus includes an imaging light source, a photosensitive body and a correction light source. The imaging light source outputs light modulated in accordance with image data representing an image. An electrostatic latent image is formed at the photosensitive body by the light output from the imaging light source. The correction light source is provided separately from the imaging light source, and outputs light toward the photosensitive body for correcting one of variations in potential on the photosensitive body and irregularities in density distribution of an image, which image is to be formed in accordance with the electrostatic latent image that is formed on the photosensitive body by the imaging light source.

Image formation apparatus with image correction capability

A width in a main scanning direction of a laser beam is decreased in the outside of an effective scanning region in such a manner that the width along the main scanning direction of the laser beam is restricted by an aperture portion of an aperture member. As a result, so-called flare light is prevented from generating, and a uniformity of light quantity is improved. Namely, in a light scanning apparatus adopting an overfilled optical system, a light scanning apparatus which can prevent degradation of image quality due to flare light is obtained.
