An image is recorded by ejecting two or more ink compositions on a porous layer that contains inorganic microparticles and a water-soluble resin and has a porosity [%] of 50% or more with a maximum total ejection amount (mL/m) set at less than 90% of an absorption capacity (mL/m) of diethylene glycol in the porous layer. The porosity=(absorption capacity of diethylene glycol (mL/m))/(thickness of porous layer (&#x3bc;m))&#xd7;100. The maximum total ejection amount=(maximum ejection amount of one dot (mL/m))&#xd7;(total amount of ink (%)). An inkjet recording method capable of inhibiting color change from occurring to cause color irregularities when papers are stacked on an image portion within a relatively short time after recording in high-speed processing or processing of a large number of sheets, and capable of stably obtaining images recorded with desired color tone.

Inkjet recording method and recorded article

A inkjet recording method is provided in which occurrence of curling at the time of double-sided recording is prevented. In the method, an inkjet recording medium is used which includes resin coated paper having a resin layer A of thickness 'a' at one side of base paper, and a resin layer B thinner than the thickness 'a' by a thickness of 3 &#x3bc;m to 20 &#x3bc;m at the other side of the base paper, and ink receiving layers each of which includes an inorganic pigment and a binder and are provided at both sides of the resin coated paper; and an image is recorded on the ink receiving layer at the resin layer B side of the resin coated paper, and subsequently an image is recorded on the ink receiving layer at the resin layer A side of the resin coated paper.

Inkjet recording method

There is provided a method for manufacturing an inkjet recording medium, the method including forming an undercoat layer by coating an undercoat layer-forming liquid containing a binder resin and a water-soluble divalent metal salt, on a support; forming a coating film by coating a coating film-forming liquid containing at least inorganic fine particles and an acetoacetyl-modified polyvinyl alcohol, on the undercoat layer; and applying a curing solution containing a water-soluble multifunctional compound having two or more amino groups in the molecule, onto the coating film, either simultaneously with the forming of the coating film, or before the coating film undergoes decreasing-rate drying during drying of the coating film.

Method for manufacturing inkjet recording medium

An ink-jet recording medium having a non-absorbent support; an ink-receiving layer containing an inorganic pigment and a binder, disposed on one surface of the non-absorbent support; and a water-absorbent layer containing a water-absorbent polymer and a pigment, disposed on the other surface of the non-absorbent support, opposite to the one surface provided with the ink-receiving layer.

Ink-jet recording medium and recording method

An inkjet recording medium including a resin-coated paper including a base paper and at least one resin layer on each of both faces of the base paper, and an ink-receiving layer on one face of the resin-coated paper, wherein the inkjet recording medium includes linear concavities and convexities that are formed in parallel or approximately parallel to any one side of the resin-coated paper on at least a part of the face of the resin-coated paper on which the ink-receiving layer is not formed.
