In a method for correcting a target position, a three-dimensional matrix is formed by piling up, in a Z-direction at predetermined intervals, matrix planes each formed by continuously connecting, in X- and Y-directions, quadrangular areas that are parallel to an XY-plane and each have a reference point, and a target position of a work robot designated in an operation space of the three-dimensional matrix is corrected. In this method, a first block and a second block are set which are individually contiguous with the specific block, and the target position is corrected based on respective reference points in the upper area and the lower area of the specific block, the first block, and the second block and the measured deviation amount of the work robot from the reference points.

Method for correcting target position of work robot

When performing inspection of a tip of a suction nozzle, the tip of the suction nozzle is imaged, and an opening of the tip of the suction nozzle is identified based on the image data. With the image based on the image data, locations with less than a set brightness level inside a location with the set brightness level and greater is identified as the opening. The identified opening is divided into four regions by boundary lines, and the area of the opening is calculated for each of the regions. Based on the areas calculated for each region, it is determined whether the suction nozzle is good. By determining whether the suction nozzle is good based on the area of the opening for each region, it is possible to reliably determine whether the suction nozzle is good.

Control device

An object is to provide a nozzle management device and a control method of a nozzle management device capable of shortening a time required for an exchange operation of suction nozzles. In an exchange operation, a control device of the nozzle management device transfers some of multiple suction nozzles serving as storage targets to an empty first socket, and thereafter, controls an operation of a nozzle transfer device so as to alternately and repeatedly perform a loading operation for transferring the suction nozzle designated corresponding to a socket of the nozzle station which is emptied out by the transferred suction nozzle, from the pallet, and an unloading operation for transferring the suction nozzles serving as the storage targets from the nozzle station to the socket which is emptied out by the loading operation.

Nozzle management device and control method of nozzle management device

An inspection method whereby, in a case in which a nozzle palette is imaged from above and light reflected by a reflection plate is not included in captured image data of a loading hole of the nozzle palette, it is determined that a suction nozzle is loaded in the loading hole. Meanwhile, in a case in which light reflected by the reflection plate is included in the captured image data of the loading hole, it is determined that a suction nozzle is not loaded in the loading hole. Further, in a case in which it is determined that a suction nozzle is loaded in the loading hole, air is ejected toward the loading hole. Then, it is redetermined whether reflected light reflected by the reflection plate is included in the captured image data of the loading hole.

Inspection method

In a nozzle management system provided with multiple nozzle management devices, a control device includes a housed nozzle information acquisition section that acquires information related to all suction nozzles housed in multiple nozzle management devices, first determination section that determines whether all the required suction nozzles to be transferred to a nozzle tray are housed in a prescribed nozzle housing device, and a second determination section that determines whether non-housed suction nozzles which are not housed in the prescribed nozzle housing device from among the required suction nozzles are housed in another suction nozzle housing device.
