A lid body includes a terminal member of at least one of a positive electrode and a negative electrode, a sealing plate including an attachment hole for attaching the terminal member, and a sealing material containing a thermoplastic resin and an inorganic filler. The terminal member is inserted into the attachment hole and attached to the sealing plate in a state in which the sealing material is joined to a peripheral portion of the attachment hole. Here, as the inorganic filler, an inorganic substance having a volume change rate of 20% or less after being immersed for 7 days in a test electrolyte, which is prepared at 65° C., and which contains 1200 ppm of water and 1 M of LiPF, and moreover in which a volume ratio of a solvent thereof satisfies a relationship of ethylene carbonate:diethyl carbonate:dimethyl carbonate=1:1:1, is used.

Lid body and sealed battery

Provided is a lid body including: a terminal member being mainly made up of a first metal; a sealing plate mainly made up of a second metal; and a sealing material. The sealing plate has a mounting hole for attaching the terminal member. The terminal member is inserted into the mounting hole and is attached to the sealing plate in a state where the sealing material is joined to a peripheral edge portion of the mounting hole. With as αa coefficient of linear expansion at 25° C. of the sealing material, αas a coefficient of linear expansion at 25° C. of the first metal and αas a coefficient of linear expansion at 25° C. of the second metal, α≤α≤αis satisfied, where αis the higher value and αis the lower value from among the αand α.

The present disclosure provides a method for manufacturing an angular battery having improved insertability of an electrode body. According to the present disclosure, there is provided a method for manufacturing an angular battery including a battery case that has a rectangular bottom surface and a pair of long side surfaces having, as one side thereof, a long side of the rectangular bottom surface and facing each other, and an electrode body that is accommodated in the battery case and wide surfaces facing the long side surfaces. The manufacturing method includes a preparation step of preparing a first member having substantially U-shaped end faces including the bottom surface and the pair of long side surfaces extending from the bottom surface, and a second member and a third member that are to be joined to respective end faces of the first member and constitute short side surfaces; a sandwiching step of sandwiching the wide surfaces of the battery body between the pair of long side surfaces of the first member; and a joining step of joining the second and third members to the respective end faces of the first member in a state in which the electrode body is sandwiched by the pair of long side surfaces.

Method for manufacturing angular battery, and angular battery

A square battery includes a battery case containing therein an electrode body. The battery case includes a case main body having a square shape substantially in the form of a cuboid having an open side surface and a lid bonded to the case main body so as to close an opening of the case main body. The case main body includes a rectangular bottom surface portion, a pair of wider surface portions facing each other, and a pair of narrower surface portions facing each other. The wider surface portion and the narrower surface portion adjacent to each other are bonded together. In the opening of the case main body, an inner side of a corner portion between the wider surface portion and the narrower surface portion adjacent to each other has an R-shape, and an outer edge of the lid is welded to the inner side of the corner portion.

Square battery

The present disclosure provides an angular battery with enhanced protection of an electrode body. The present disclosure provides an angular battery including an electrode body and a battery case that accommodates the electrode body. The battery case is configured of a substantially U-shaped case body that has a rectangular bottom surface and a pair of long side surfaces provided integrally with the bottom surface and facing each other, and a substantially U-shaped lid body having an upper lid facing the bottom surface and a pair of short side surfaces provided integrally with the upper lid and facing each other. The electrode body is attached to the lid body. In the angular battery, the case body and the lid are joined to each other to form a state in which the electrode body is accommodated inside the battery case.

Angular battery

To provide a method for production of an all-solid-state battery in which cracking of the ends of the electrodes can be suppressed even if a negative electrode active material layer including lithium-titanium oxide is roll-pressed, provided is a method for the production of an all-solid-state battery, including roll-pressing to consolidate a negative electrode active material layer; wherein the all-solid-state battery has a structure including a laminate of a positive electrode current collector layer, a positive electrode active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer, the negative electrode active material layer, and a negative electrode current collector layer in this order, the negative electrode active material layer includes a lithium-titanium oxide as a negative electrode active material, and prior to the roll-pressing, a stress relaxation rate of the negative electrode active material layer is 32.5% or more.

All-solid-state battery production method and all-solid-state battery

A method for producing a secondary battery includes a space formation step and an injection molding step. In the space formation step, an outer periphery of a resin blocking portion with a quadrangular prism shape, in a terminal, is plugged to form a resin injection space around the terminal. In the injection molding step, a resin is injected into the injection space. The space formation step includes a constant-dimension pressing step and a constant-pressure pressing step. In the constant-dimension pressing step, a section between a pair of first outer peripheral surfaces of the resin blocking portion, extending parallelly to each other is pressed, whereby a distance between the first outer peripheral surfaces is brought to a predetermined distance. In the constant-pressure pressing step, a section between a pair of second outer peripheral surfaces of the resin blocking portion, extending in a direction intersecting the first outer peripheral surfaces, is pressed.

Method for producing secondary battery

A method for producing an all solid state battery in which an anode foil, an anode layer, a solid electrolyte layer, and a cathode layer are layered in this order, and an area of the solid electrolyte layer and the anode layer is larger than an area of the cathode layer is disclosed. The method includes a first pressing step of roll-pressing a first layered body so an adhesive force between the anode foil and the anode layer becomes 30 N/cmor more, to form a second layered body; a layered body forming step of forming a third layered body comprising the anode foil, the anode layer, the solid electrolyte layer, and the cathode layer, using the second layered body; and a second pressing step of roll-pressing the third layered body with a linear pressure of 1.0 t/cm or more to form a forth layered body.

Method for producing all solid state battery, and all solid state battery

In a vehicle body component, a bent portion that is formed in a component main body made of a metal plate is formed of a thickened portion, in which a plate thickness of the metal plate as a material of the component main body is gradually increased. Just as described, since the bent portion, on which stress is likely to be concentrated when a load is applied to the component main body, is formed of the thickened portion, a plate thickness of a portion where the stress is not concentrated can be prevented from being increased more than necessary. This can contribute to improvement of mass efficiency.
