A culture container has a first inflow port and a first outflow port. The first flow path connects the first outflow port to the first inflow port. A storage container is provided within the first flow path and has a second inflow port which is connected to the first outflow port and a second outflow port which is connected to the first inflow port. A second flow path connects a first region within the first flow path, and a second region within the first flow path. A division processing portion is provided within the second flow path, performs a division process of dividing a cell aggregation flowing in from the first flow path, and allows the cells subjected to the division process to flow out into the first flow path via the second region. A medium supply portion supplies a medium to the inside of the first flow path.

Cell culture device and cell culture method

There is provided a cell culture bag including: plural tubular portions having gas permeability in which a tube axis direction is directed to a first direction and which are arranged side by side in a second direction intersecting with the first direction and are separated from each other using a partition wall; and communication portions having gas permeability which allow communication between two mutually adjacent tubular portions of the plural tubular portions in an intermediate region R between one end and the other end of the tubular portions.

Cell culture bag and cell culture method

A solution of polymer uniformly dissolved into a solvent is prepared in a solution preparing step. The solvent contains good and poor solvent components for the polymer. The solution is discharged from a coating die to a support to be a coating film thereon in a primary body forming step. A water drop generating step and a fluidity decreasing step are performed in parallel with each other while wet air is applied to the coating film. Water drops are generated on a surface of the coating film in the water drop generating step. The good solvent component is evaporated from the coating film to decrease fluidity of the solution for forming the coating film in the fluidity decreasing step. In the water drop evaporating step, dry air is applied to the coating film. The solvent and the water drops are evaporated from the coating film to obtain the porous film.

Porous film production method

In a coating zone, a cylindrical tube is soaked in and taken out from a solution, such that a coating film is formed on a curved surface of the tube. In a wet gas zone, while a first gas feeding nozzle having a gas outlet moves in a state where the gas outlet faces an outer peripheral surface of the tube, wet gas is blown toward the coating film through the gas outlet. Water drops are generated on the coating film and grown up. In a dry gas zone, as in the case of the first gas feeding nozzle, while a second gas feeding nozzle having a gas outlet moves, dry gas is blown toward the coating film through the gas outlet. Solvent and water drops are evaporated from the coating film. Pores form from the water drops as a template for the porous material on the coating film.

Porous material production method

After a second liquid is applied to a support and dried, a first liquid is applied thereon. On a film of the first liquid, a third liquid (water) is supplied in droplets using an inkjet-type liquid supply unit. An area supplied with the droplets is referred to as porous area. Next, an organic solvent is evaporated from the film and the droplets are evaporated from the porous area. Thus, a porous film is obtained. The porous film has the porous areas in which a plurality of pores are arranged. Since the droplets are directly formed by an inkjet printing method, a condensation process and a droplet growing process are unnecessary. Thus, the porous film is produced efficiently. Shapes of the porous areas can be changed easily. The porous areas can be formed on the porous film in various patterns.

Method for producing porous film

A porous film is used as a cell culture substrate that is a scaffold for a spheroid. The porous film has a plurality of pores whose diameters gradually increase in a direction A. A polymer solution () is prepared by dissolving poly-.&#x3b5;.-caprolactone and amphipathic polyacrylamide in an organic solvent. Air () from a blowing and suctioning device () is sent to the casting film () to generate droplets (). The relative speed of drying air () to the moving speed of the casting belt () is adjusted at 5 m/min in parallel flow. The droplets () are evaporated after evaporating the organic solvent in the casting film (), so that a honeycomb-structure film () can be obtained.

Producing method for film

The liquid repellent structure includes a support, and a honeycomb-patterned film and a coating film on the honeycomb-patterned film or a liquid repellent film. The method of producing the structure applies a solution of an organic compound in an organic solvent onto the support, places the support in an atmosphere containing water vapor to form water droplets on a surface of the solution film, evaporates the organic solvent and the droplets to form the honeycomb-patterned film, and forms the coating film made of a fluorine-containing material on a surface of the honeycomb-patterned film or etches the honeycomb-patterned film to form a second honeycomb-patterned film. The liquid ejection head includes an ejection substrate having the liquid repellent structure. The protective film includes a support base and the liquid repellent structure.

Liquid repellent structure, method of producing the same, liquid ejection head and protective film

A casting film is made by casting dope including polymer and solvent on a casting drum whose surface is cooled. The casting film becomes to have a self-supporting property by cooling solidification, and then peeled as a wet film from the casting drum. The wet film is fed into a pin tenter in which both side edges of the wet film is held by plural pins. The wet film is dried while conveyed through the pin tenter, to become a film. Next, the film having predetermined X-ray diffraction intensity is fed into a clip tenter. While the film whose both side edges are held by clips is conveyed, it is stretched in the width direction thereof at a stretch rate in a range of 15% to 40%, to control molecular orientation in the film.

Manufacturing method of polymer film

In a joining section there are columnar distribution pins, on whose periphery a groove is formed. A size of the groove is strictly determined. A first dope and a third dope are fed through the respective grooves such that a width of each dope is controlled. Thereafter, the surface and third dopes are joined with an second dope. Thus a multi-layer stream is obtained and cast through a die lip of a casting die for forming a casting film having a multi-layer structure. The casting film is dried and thus a multi-layer film is obtained.

Apparatus for producing multi-layer film

A clip to hold the film has a clip body, a flapper, a press slider and a rail mount. A pair of the press sliders is located in both sides of the flapper. A coil spring presses the press slider upward. A pair of entrance side film release members, provided in the tenter entrance, presses the press slider downward to press the lateral edge portions of the film by the press sliders. At the film hold position, the flapper rotates from a release position to a hold position to hold the film, and the flapper is kept at the hold position by a torsion spring. The flapper holds the filmafter the press slider holds the lateral edge portions of the film, so the flapper can hold the film even when the lateral edge portions of the film are curled.

Film stretching apparatus and solution film-forming method

Side edge portions of a film in which a content of a remaining solvent is at least 30 wt. % are contacted to side parts of first-third rollers with suctioning through suction ducts. Thus a middle portion between the side edge portions is not contacted to the rollers, and the film is transported toward a tenter device in accordance with the rotation of the rollers. In the rollers, each side part of the rollers has a larger diameter of a middle part. At least one of intervals between the neighboring rollers is from 1 mm to 200 mm, and the lapping angle is from 1&#xb0; to 180&#xb0;. Toward the middle part of the film, and air is fed in a roller side. The obtained film doesn't have any neither crumples, wrinkle, curl and the like, and foreign materials are hardly adhered. Therefore the continuous film production can be made stably.

Solution casting method and polymer film

In solution casting, dope containing a polymer and a solvent is cast on to a support to form a cast film. The cast film is stripped from the support to obtain a polymer film of cellulose ester, for example, cellulose acetate propionate (CAP). The polymer film is stretched. While the polymer film is stretched, tension of 80 N/m or more is applied thereto in a stretching direction. Polymer film surface temperature thereof is set equal to or more than a glass transition temperature Tg thereof. Furthermore, before stretching the polymer film, the polymer film stripped from the support is dried. After stretching the polymer film, the polymer film is dried. Also, the solution casting process is according to multi casting of plural dopes at one time together for plural cast films in the polymer film.

Solution casting process and cellulose ester film

In order to produce a cellulose ester film constructed of a front layer, an intermediate layer and a rear layer, a dope solution is doped on a supporter. In at least one of the front layer and the rear layer, a mass ratio of a cotton linter to a wood pulp (cotton linter/wood pulp) is between 5/95 and 0/100, and a solvent of the dope contains more than 15 wt.% alcohols and hydrocarbons whose carbon number each is 1-10. Further, a ratio of a solid content density of a solution for forming the front layer and the rear layer to a solid density of a solution for forming the intermediate layer is less than 0.9 wt.%, and a total thickness of the solutions for front and rear layers is more than 5% of the dope ribbon.

Method of producing of cellulose ester film

The mixture solvent of dichlorimethane type, the TAC and the plasticizer are supplied into a dissolution tank, and stirred therein with a stirrer to obtain a dispersing solution. The dispersing solution is fed into a storing tank and further stirred therein. Then the dispersing solution is fed by a pump to a heat exchanger for the heating, and thereafter the stirring is made with a static mixer. The temperatures of the dope is measured at many measuring points. On the basis of the temperature distribution, the heat transmission conditions of the heat exchanger are adjusted. Then the dope is fed to a heat exchanger for cooling, to cool to at most the normal boiling point of the dope. Then the mixing is made with a static mixer. Thus the obtained dope is uniform.
