A feedback control switching unit of an inverter control unit selects, based on a magnitude relationship between a predetermined switching determination amount and at least one switching threshold, at least one of feedback control units to thereby execute switching among feedback control modes, such as a current feedback control mode and a torque feedback control mode, of the respective feedback control units for driving of the AC motor. A switching command generating unit generates a switching command for an inverter based on a manipulated variable calculated by the selected feedback control unit. When a torque response request determining unit determines that a required torque responsiveness is high, the feedback control switching unit reduces the number of executions of switching among the feedback control modes.

In a control apparatus for a power conversion apparatus, a spectrum changing unit changes a spectrum of at least one of bus harmonic components and switch harmonic components so as to meet at least one of a separation condition and a reduction condition. The bus harmonic components are harmonic components superimposed on a voltage of the bus in accompaniment with on-off operations of switches configuring at least one power conversion apparatuses. The switch harmonic components are harmonic components included in a switching pattern of switches configuring the remaining at least one power conversion apparatus. The separation condition is that the frequencies of both harmonic components are separated by a predetermined value or more. The reduction condition is that an amplitude of at least one harmonic component is reduced when the difference between the frequencies of both harmonic components is less than the predetermined value.

A control apparatus for an AC motor includes an inverter, a voltage-command calculation unit calculating a vector used for giving a command to the inverter, a voltage-waveform specifying unit specifying, as a voltage waveform for operating the inverter based on the vector, a pulse pattern selected from previously stored voltage waveforms, or a voltage waveform of a PWM signal generated by a comparison between a phase voltage and a carrier wave, an amplitude-spectrum extraction unit obtaining a bus current of the inverter to extract an amplitude spectrum of a specific frequency corresponding to a resonance frequency of a circuit through which the bus current flows, and a voltage-amplitude limiting unit limiting an amplitude of the vector so that the amplitude spectrum of the specific frequency becomes less than a threshold, if the amplitude spectrum of the specific frequency correlating with the voltage waveform is the threshold or more.

Control apparatus for AC motor

In a control apparatus for an AC motor, a voltage waveform specifying unit of an inverter control unit specifies a voltage waveform for operating the inverter, based on a voltage vector calculated by a voltage command calculation unit. A spectrum amplitude extraction unit acquires values of bus current of the inverter and extracts the spectrum amplitude of the specific frequency that corresponds to the LC resonance frequency of the converter. A boost/non-boost state judgement unit of a converter control unit determines whether the state required by the converter in the next control cycle is the boost state or the non-boost state. When the spectrum amplitude of the specific frequency, correlated with the voltage waveform, is higher than the judgement threshold value and the converter is in the non-boost state, a voltage command value alteration unit changes the voltage command reference value such that the converter transitions to the boost state.

In an apparatus, a first control unit performs current-feedback control, and a second control unit performs torque-feedback control. The torque-feedback control samples values of each output current at phases. The sampled values of each output current at the phases are referred to as phase-related sampled values of the corresponding output current. The apparatus causes the second control unit to sample values of each output current at the predetermined phases while the first control unit is performing the current-feedback control when switching the current-feedback control to the torque-feedback control. The second control unit uses the values of each output current sampled by the first control unit as the phase-related sampled values of the corresponding output current to start the torque-feedback control when the current-feedback control is switched to the torque-feedback control.

Apparatus for controlling rotary electric machine

A control apparatus is provided to control a fuel injection apparatus. The fuel injection apparatus includes an accumulator that accumulates high-pressure fuel, at least one injector that injects the high-pressure fuel accumulated in the accumulator into a cylinder of an internal combustion engine, and a pressure sensor that senses fuel pressure in the accumulator and outputs a signal indicative of the sensed fuel pressure. The control apparatus includes an estimator, a determiner, and a setter. The estimator estimates an actual injection duration of the injector. The determiner determines, during the actual injection duration estimated by the estimator, a value of the fuel pressure in the accumulator based on the signal output from the pressure sensor. The setter sets a manipulated variable for controlling fuel injection quantity of the injector based on the value of the fuel pressure determined by the determiner.
