An electric working machine in one aspect of the present disclosure includes: a motor; a driver to drive the motor; a first control circuit; and a second control circuit. The first control circuit controls the driver such that the motor rotates in a set rotation direction. The second control circuit is provided separately from the first control circuit. The second control circuit detects a rotation direction of the motor and performs an abnormality handling process to stop rotation of the motor in response to a situation where the detected rotation direction is reverse to the set rotation direction.

Electric working machine

An electric-powered wheelbarrow in one aspect of the present disclosure includes a motor, a wheel, an electromagnetic brake, a control circuit, a signal-processing circuit, and a drive circuit. The electromagnetic brake includes an electromagnetic coil. The electromagnetic brake (i) applies a braking force to the wheel in response to the electromagnetic coil being de-energized and (ii) releases the braking force from the wheel in response to the electromagnetic coil being energized. The control circuit outputs a first control signal and a second control signal. The signal-processing circuit receives the first and second control signals to thereby output a deactivating signal. The drive circuit receives the deactivating signal and delivers an excitation current to the electromagnetic coil.

Electric-powered wheelbarrow

Electric scissors comprise a motor, a movable blade, a transmission mechanism, an operation device, an operation signal output device, a control device, a drive circuit, and a forced stop device. The forced stop device is configured to stop the motor when an abnormal state is present in which the value of the operation signal output from the operation signal output device is a value determined in the control device to rotate the motor in a specific rotation direction out of the first and the second rotation directions or to stop the motor, and in which the motor is rotating in a direction opposite to the specific rotation direction.

A motor-driven appliance comprises a drive source for driving a tool, a control unit, a power supply unit, a switch unit, a receiving unit, a supply signal output unit, and a data communication unit. The power supply unit generates a control voltage for operating the control unit. The switch unit supplies the control voltage to the control unit and stops supply of the control voltage to the control unit. The control voltage is supplied to the control unit while a given supply signal is inputted to the switch unit. The supply signal output unit outputs, to the switch unit, the supply signal for supplying the control voltage to the control unit when the receiving unit receives the electromagnetic wave while the supply of the control voltage to the control unit is stopped. The data communication unit outputs, to the control unit, the data contained in the electromagnetic wave.

Motor-driven appliance

A motor driven appliance in one aspect of embodiments of the present disclosure comprises a motor, a first switching element, a second switching element, an operation unit, a control unit, and a monitoring unit. The first and second switching elements are provided on a current path from a power source to the motor, and are connected in series to each other. The monitoring unit monitors an operating state of a protection function by the control unit, and, when the protection function is activated, outputs an OFF signal for turning off the second switching element.

Motor driven appliance and protection method thereof

A power tool includes a motor, a rotating speed adjusting switch, a regulating member, and a control unit. The regulating member regulates an upper limit position when the switch is displaced by manipulation by a user into an upper limit of any one of stages by the manipulation by the user. The control unit controls an amount of a current flowing to the motor by a duty ratio based on a manipulation amount of the switch, thereby increasing the rotating speed of the motor in accordance with an increase of the manipulation amount. A predetermined set number of duty ratios are set for each of the stages. A proportion of the predetermined set number of duty ratios to a manipulable amount of the switch is higher in a first stage having the lowest upper limit position than in the stages other than the first stage.

Power tool

An electric power tool of the present invention includes: a lighting unit; a motor that drives a tool element; a setting switch that is turned ON/OFF to change an operation mode setting and a lighting mode setting; a setting switching unit that changes the operation mode setting and the lighting mode setting corresponding to a manner of operation provided to the setting switch; a motor control unit that controls the motor according to a control method for one of the operation modes currently set by the setting switching unit; and a lighting control unit that controls the lighting unit corresponding to one of the lighting modes currently set by the setting switching unit. When the setting switch is turned on, the setting switching unit changes one of the operation mode setting and the lighting mode setting corresponding to a duration time of an ON state of the setting switch.

Electric power tool

A drive device of the present invention includes a pair of drive switches, a first diode, a switching element, a current detection unit, a capacitor, a second diode, and a current control unit. The first diode, the switching element, and the current detection unit are arranged, in this order from one end of an armature in a motor, on a braking current path that is formed of the armature and a field winding in the motor when the pair of drive switches is in a brake position. The second diode is adapted to keep allowing a braking current to flow through the field winding when the switching element is in an off-state by directly connecting a partial path between the switching element and the current detection unit on the braking current path and the other end of the armature.

A fan switch and an ignition switch are arranged such that the moving directions of operating buttons thereof cross the moving directions of a contact lever and the moving direction of a switch lever, respectively.

The electric drive tool of the invention is configured such that a lock lever is provided to reliably prevent an erroneous operation of a trigger and an operating mode can be switched by changing an operational sequence of this lock lever and a contact trip.

Electric drive tool

An electric power tool is provided that includes a motor as a driving source, a first operation switch, a first semiconductor switch, and a second semiconductor switch. The first operation switch is operated by a user to be turned ON/OFF. The first semiconductor switch, provided on a current path from the power source to the motor, includes at least one semiconductor switching device. When the first operation switch is OFF, the first semiconductor switch is turned OFF to interrupt the current path. When the first operation switch is ON, the first semiconductor switch is turned ON to close the current path. The second semiconductor switch is provided on the current path in series with the first semiconductor switch and includes at least one semiconductor switching device. The second semiconductor switch closes/interrupts the current path by being turned ON/OFF in accordance with an input control signal.

A drive tool includes an ejector, a press member, a press detection switch, an operation member, an operation detection switch, a control unit, an operation state detector, and a report unit. The control unit makes the ejector carry out ejection of a fastening tool when the press detection switch and the operation detection switch are turned on. The operation state detector detects a case where the drive tool comes into one of a plurality of kinds of preset operation states which include at least one operation state other than a state of a battery. Report patterns different for each of the plurality of kinds of operation states are set in the report unit. When one of the operation states is detected by the operation state detector, the report unit reports the detection using the report pattern set corresponding to the detected operation state.

Drive tool

A lock lever is provided in association with a trigger, and the trigger is configured not to be turned on unless the third operation for unlocking the lock lever is performed, so that it is ensured that an erroneous operation of the trigger is prevented further reliably.
