A lacrimal duct tube includes: a pair of tubular members that each have at one end an opening communicating with a lumen; and a connection member that connects the other ends of the tubular members. A base end part including the other end of at least one of the tubular members is tapered down toward the connection member and the base end part has an inlet/outlet port communicating with the lumen of the tubular member. A portion of the base end part constituting peripheral edge of the inlet/outlet port and the connection member are connected together.

Lacrimal duct tube

A medical tube in which an intermediate layer composed of a composition containing (a), (b), and (c1) listed below and a lubricant layer composed of a composition containing (a), (b), and (c2) listed below are sequentially laminated on a surface of an insertion member to be inserted into a living body: (a) 1 to 35 weight % of at least one of aromatic diisocyanate, aliphatic diisocyanate, and alicyclic diisocyanate; (b) 1 to 35 weight % of trifunctional or higher functionality polyol; (c1) 30 to 98 weight % of polyalkylene glycol and/or monomethoxypolyalkylene glycol; and (c2) 30 to 98 weight % of polyalkylene glycol (including polyalkylene glycol larger in weight-average molecular weight than polyalkylene glycol in (c1)) and/or monomethoxypolyalkylene glycol (including monomethoxypolyalkylene glycol larger in weight-average molecular weight than monomethoxypolyalkylene glycol in (c1)), (where each of the glycols in (c1) and (c2) is diol).

Medical tube

A lacrimal duct tube includes: a pair of tubular members that each have at one end an opening communicating with a lumen and have in a wall a hole for guiding a lacrimal duct tube operative instrument to the lumen; and a connection member that connects the other ends of the tubular members. Surfaces of the tubular members include a hydrophilic-coated portion and a non-coated portion without the hydrophilic coating. It is preferred that the lumen in the vicinity of the opening includes an engagement portion for engagement with a tip of the lacrimal duct tube operative instrument, and the non-coated portion is formed without overlapping with the surface of the tubular member at the position of the engagement portion. The lacrimal duct tube can be used favorably for various lacrimal duct obstruction treatments. In the case of using a sheath such as in sheath guided endoscopic probing, the lacrimal duct tube can be easily inserted into the sheath and be firmly fixed to the sheath. In the case of inserting the lacrimal duct tube directly into the lacrimal duct, the lacrimal duct tube can be easily passed through the lacrimal duct and be easily operated in the lacrimal duct.

A lacrimal duct tube including: a pair of tubular members each of which has an terminal end opening at one end; and a central member that connects other ends of the tubular members, at least one of the tubular members includes: a cylindrical part extended from the terminal end opening to the central member side and has an opening for bar-like operative instrument at an end portion at the central member side; and an arc-shaped part that is extended from the end portion of the cylindrical part at the central member side further to the central member side and has an almost arc-shaped wall portion on a cross section orthogonal to a longitudinal side of the tubular member, and the almost arc-shaped wall portion is formed at the arc-shaped part continuously over a length of &#x2153; or more and 9/10 or less of an entire length of the tubular member.

The present invention provides a lacrimal duct tube that can be preferably used for the treatment of lacrimal duct obstruction, in particular, sheath guided endoscopic probing having been frequently performed in recent years, the lacrimal duct tube being excellent in passage through a lesion in the lacrimal duct, operability in the lacrimal duct, and manipulation of the endoscope inserted into the lumen of the tube, and providing a sufficient viewing field of the endoscope. The present invention relates to a lacrimal duct tube, including: a pair of tubular members that each has an opening at one end and a hole in a side wall communicating with a lumen; and a connection member that connects other ends of the tubular members, wherein the tubular members each include a plurality of resin portions different in Shore hardness, at least one of the resin portions is positioned between the opening and the hole and forms a lumen wall of the tubular member, and the lumen wall has a Shore hardness of 57D or more.

A guide wire which includes: (a) a core wire formed with a mounting portion at the distal end portion; and (b) a plurality of coil wires being fitted onto the mounting portion substantially in tandem, and having different mechanical properties, the adjacent coil wires being connected with each other at the corresponding ends thereof. One of the corresponding ends of the adjacent coil wires is formed into a tapered portion gradually reducing in outer diameter toward said end. The other one of the corresponding ends is formed into a receiving end portion into which the tapered portion is inserted.

Guide wire

A protector for housing a drug administration needle comprised of a winged hub and a cannula bent substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the hub at a longitudinal central portion of the hub. The protector comprises a tubular cannula-protecting portion having a cannula entrance at one end and a bottom at the opposite end; and a hub-mounting portion for attachment of the winged hub, the hub-mounting portion being coaxially formed on the cannula entrance of the cannula-protecting portion.
