The control device controls a vehicle towing a trailer. The control device is configured to determine whether or not a user is present in the trailer when a shift range is in the parking range. The control device is configured to ignore a shift range switching operation by a driver when the shift range switching operation is performed while a user is present in the trailer.

Control device and control method

A vehicle air conditioner has a refrigeration cycle system including a compressor. The rotational frequency of the compressor is variably controlled, and the compressor is prevented from being operated within a resonating rotational frequency range of the compressor in which the vibration frequency of the compressor and the natural frequency of a steering device resonate with each other. When the vehicle performs automated driving, the compressor is also allowed to operate within the resonating rotational frequency range.

Vehicle air conditioner

A control device is installed in the vehicle that is able to execute a fuel cut that stops fuel supply to an engine in a state in which the engine is rotating. In a case where there is a request for the fuel cut while there is a heating request in which heating of a vehicle cabin is performed using heat of an engine coolant, when a blowout port mode of air conditioning air is set to a defroster mode or a bi-level mode, the control device prohibits the fuel cut.

In a situation where a temperature in a motor compartment is higher than a temperature of outside air, an inside air introduction rate increasing control is performed in which an inside air introduction rate is changed to be increased on a condition that there is no request for warming an inside of the vehicle cabin, the air conditioner is off, and air is being blown in an outside air introduction mode, and on the other hand, the inside air introduction rate increasing control is prohibited on a condition that there is a request for warming the inside of the vehicle cabin, the vehicular air conditioner is off, and air is being blown in the outside air introduction mode. In this way, heating efficiency can be improved by effectively utilizing the heat in the motor compartment to contribute to warming the inside of the vehicle cabin.

Vehicular air conditioner

When an A/C switch is ON and a predetermined dehumidification condition is met, an ECU determines whether or not HV travel is selected. When the HV travel is selected, the ECU controls an air conditioning facility so that a heat pump cycle performs a cooling operation (dehumidification) and hot-water heating is used for the heating capability. When the EV travel is selected, the ECU controls the air conditioning facility so that the heat pump cycle performs dehumidification heating.

Hybrid vehicle

A vehicle includes an air conditioning apparatus configured to be capable of executing ventilation operation to supply air outside the vehicle into a passenger compartment, and cooling operation to supply cool air into the passenger compartment; and a control unit that causes the air conditioning apparatus to execute remote air conditioning in which air conditioning is performed while a user is not in the vehicle, and operated air conditioning in which air conditioning is performed by the user's operation while the user is in the vehicle. The control unit controls the air conditioning apparatus such that a condition in which the ventilation operation is executed in the remote air conditioning is more relaxed than a condition in which the ventilation operation is executed in the operated air conditioning. In this way, power consumption by pre-air conditioning can be reduced.

A hybrid vehicle includes: an internal combustion engine; a generator that generates electric power by using an output of the internal combustion engine; an electric storage device that stores the electric power generated by the generator; an electric motor that generates a driving force for the hybrid vehicle by receiving at least one of the electric power that is generated by the generator and the electric power that is stored in the electric storage device; a heating apparatus that heats a vehicle cabin, the heating apparatus including an electric heater that heats the vehicle cabin by using the electric power that is stored in the electric storage device; and an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is configured to (a) control traveling of the vehicle by selectively applying a CD mode and a CS mode, the CD mode being a mode in which an SOC of the electric storage device is consumed and the CS mode being a mode in which the SOC is maintained, and (b) control the electric heater so that the heating by the electric heater is more limited in the CS mode than in the CD mode.

Hybrid vehicle and method for controlling same

A controller controls an air-conditioning device so that air of the air-conditioning device is supplied to a cabin based on a warm-up state of air of the air-conditioning device. When remote air conditioning is performed, the controller controls the air-conditioning device so that air of the air-conditioning device is supplied to the cabin even in a state where the warm-up state is lower than in a case where air of the air-conditioning device is supplied to the cabin of the vehicle in the operation air conditioning. In a manner described above, a vehicle capable of suppressing power loss and lengthening of charging time in heating during the remote air conditioning and the preliminary air conditioning is provided.

An air conditioner for a vehicle includes: a compressor that compresses refrigerant for conditioning air in a vehicle cabin and defines a refrigeration cycle; a detecting section that detects a thermal load of air-conditioning in the vehicle cabin; and a control section that controls a rotational speed of the compressor such that the thermal load detected by the detecting section satisfies a predetermined air conditioning request in the vehicle cabin. In case where the air conditioning request is satisfied by controlling the rotational speed of the compressor, the control section periodically switches between a reference rotational speed and a low rotational speed that is lower than the reference rotational speed in order to maintain a state where the air conditioning request is satisfied. The reference rotational speed is a rotational speed within a predetermined range that includes the rotational speed at which the air conditioning request is satisfied.

Air conditioner for vehicle

A vehicle fuel cooling device includes a return passage and a fuel cooling unit arranged on the return passage. A non-injected surplus fuel of a fuel supplied to a fuel injection valve is returned to a fuel tank through the return passage as a return fuel. When a part of the cooling medium of a vehicle air conditioning system is circulated to the fuel cooling unit, the cooling medium flowing through the fuel cooling unit cools the return fuel through heat exchange. In the vehicle fuel cooling device, when a part of the cooling medium is circulated to the fuel cooling unit to cool the return fuel, an amount of return fuel to be returned to the fuel tank is increased compared to when the return fuel is not cooled.

Vehicular fuel cooling device

A vehicle includes an engine, an engine cooling system configured to cool the engine with a coolant, an air conditioning apparatus, a heat exchanger that exchanges heat between the coolant and a refrigerant, and an ECU that controls the air conditioning apparatus. The air conditioning apparatus includes a compressor that compresses the refrigerant, and the compressor is driven in response to an air conditioning request to air condition a passenger compartment. Even in the absence of the air conditioning request, the ECU causes the compressor to be driven to heat the coolant by radiation of heat from the refrigerant.
