A control system for a vehicle, such as an off-road recreational vehicle, that includes a powertrain and an accessory. The control system includes an actuator, such as a paddle shifter, configured to operate in a powertrain mode to control an aspect of the powertrain, and to operate in an accessory mode to control an aspect of the accessory. The control system also includes a selector configured to switch the actuator between the powertrain mode and the accessory mode.

Vehicle and accessory control system

A vehicular lead storage battery according to the present invention includes a battery container provided with at least one cell chamber; and a cover platefor covering an upper opening of the battery container. A guide pathfor discharging gases within a cell chamber to the outside is formed in the cover plate. The guide pathincludes a first guide portionB for horizontally guiding gases from the cell chamber; a second guide portionC connected to the first guide portionB to downwardly guide the gases from the first guide portionB; and a third guide portionA connected to the second guide portionC to horizontally guide the gases from the second guide portionC and discharge the gases from an exhaust ventK formed in the cover plateto the outside. A corner portionK is formed by the first guide portionB and the second guide portionC, and a corner portionK is formed by the second guide portionC and the third guide portionA. The guide pathis formed so that the angle &#x3b8; of a straight line L having internal contact with the two corner portionsK andK from a horizontal line is greater than the maximum angle of inclination at which the inclined angle of a vehicle is maximum during driving on a sloping ground.
