The present invention has an object to provide a technique capable of appropriately determining whether a vehicle has entered a facility range. A navigation apparatus includes a storage, a position detector, and an entry determining unit. The storage stores map information including a facility range. The position detector detects a position of an own vehicle. The entry determining unit determines that, in a case where the position of the own vehicle detected by the position detector has entered an entry determination range associated with the facility range, the own vehicle has entered the facility range.

An object of the present invention is to provide a technology capable of estimating a waiting time at an energy refilling facility for each of drive types. A center-side system includes a center-side receiver that receives, from a vehicle-side system, probe vehicle position information and drive type information that is information regarding a drive type of a probe vehicle. Then, the center-side system includes: a traffic condition estimation unit that estimates a traffic condition, which includes a drive type-classified number of vehicles, based on the probe vehicle position information and the drive type information, which are received by the center-side receiver; and a center-side transmitter that transmits, to an outside, the traffic condition estimated by the traffic condition estimation unit.

An object of the present invention is to provide an on-vehicle information processing device that is capable of sufficiently calling attention of a driver of an own vehicle. For map data, a road system is represented by using node data, which is information concerning nodes representing points along a road, and link data, which is information concerning a link representing a road between the points. A link row is a series of links representing a series of roads in a road system, and as link row data, link data for the links that constitute the link row are arranged in the order in which the links are connected. The node data for the individual nodes of the road system are provided separately from the link row data, and to identify nodes, node identifiers are provided for the nodes of the road system. The link data includes information indicating a node identifier for a node that is located at one link end defined in the direction of the link row.

Using a stored data in a map information storage section which is a storage medium such as a CD-ROM or the like, a vehicle navigation device comprises a schematic map calculation section which performs calculations of a schematic map of roads, a distance calculation section which calculates a distance from an arbitrary geographical point to a facility, a display selection section which selects a facility within a fixed distance from an arbitrary geographical point based on a calculation result in a distance calculation section, and a display control section which displays facilities selected from the display selection section and a schematic map obtained from the schematic map calculation section on a schematic map on a display section.
