A seat apparatus includes a seat back capable of being used as a table at a surface thereof, a seat back driving device moving the seat back between a seating position and a table position, a controlling portion controlling the seat back driving device, and the controlling portion including an operating portion at which the user executes a certain operation, wherein, when the user executes the certain operation, the controlling portion controls the seat back to move in a first direction that is opposite to a second direction to which the seat back is moved most recently.

Seat apparatus

A seat apparatus includes a seat cushion on which an operator is seated, a seatback for supporting the operator seated on the seat cushion, a seat drive device changing a position of the seat cushion and the seatback between a seating position and a storage position by operating the seat cushion and the seatback, and a control unit for controlling the seat drive device, the control unit controlling the seat drive device in a way that an operation starting time of the seat cushion does not coincide with an operation starting time of the seatback and an operating time of the seat cushion overlaps temporally an operating time of the seatback when the seat cushion and the seatback are moved between the seating position and the storage position such that an interference of the seat cushion and the seatback is restricted.

An operating mechanism for an open/close object comprising a driving device for driving and opening the open/close object, a position detecting device for detecting an open position of the open/close object (), and a fully open position storage device for storing a fully open position of the open/close object, wherein, when the driving device drives and opens the open/close object, the driving device is stopped in a fully open recognition position stored in the fully open position storage device or a position a fixed amount short of the fully open recognition position. When a current position of the open/close object after completion of the opening drive by the driving device is different from the fully open recognition position (#), the fully open position storage device sets a new fully open recognition position (#).

Operating mechanism for an open/close object

A seat apparatus includes a seat cushion on which an operator is seated, a seatback supporting the operator seated on the seat cushion, the seatback being configured to incline forward to reduce an angle of the seatback relative to the seat cushion and to incline rearward to increase the angle of the seatback relative to the seat cushion, a seatback drive device inclining the seatback forward and rearward relative to the seat cushion, a seatback operating switch provided at a position where is reached by the operator seated on the seat cushion, the seatback operating switch operating the seatback driving device in response to an operation of the switch, and an excessive load restricting device restricting an excessive load applied to the operator seated on the seat cushion by limiting a forward inclination of the seatback when the seatback operating switch is operated so as to incline the seatback forward.

A door is moved in an opening direction at a first speed until the door reaches a decelerating area. A moving speed of the door in the opening direction is decelerated from the first speed to a second speed being lower than the first speed while the door has been moved in the decelerating area. The movement of the door is stopped when the door is moved beyond the decelerating area, the door comes in contact with an obstacle, and the moving speed of the door becomes lower than a predetermined speed corresponding to an open position of the door by a predetermined threshold value.

Door apparatus for a vehicle

An entrapment detection device of an opening/closing member which efficiently performs an entrapment determination and restrains an entrapment load even when a motor rotational signal is not inputted. The entrapment detection device includes a controller for performing the entrapment detection based on detected motor rotational signal cycle changes outputted from a motor rotation sensor which is synchronized with the movement of a motor for actuating an opening/closing member. The controller stores the cycle changes of a predetermined number of output pulses from the sensor, predetermines a standard cycle time Tb from the stored pulse output, and calculates a cycle coefficient of the entrapment. When the motor rotational speed is reduced, an entrapment detection operation is performed by comparing a value of time from a previous cycle change to a current cycle change multiplied by the calculated cycle coefficient with the standard cycle Tb.

Entrapment detection device of opening/closing member

An open/close control device for a movable lid is of a highly precise position detection ability by using only a sensor which issues a pulse train in response to a motor rotation amount. When the open/close control device is in the form of a drive unit which controls opening and closing a sunroof, the drive unit includes a motor which drives the sunroof and a control device having a microcomputer . The microcomputer is fed with two pulse train signals from two Hall-ICs, respectively. The signals are in proportion to the rotation number of the motor but are different in phase. On the basis of the pulse train signals, the microcomputer counts a position counter for indication of current position of the sunroof in view of the motor rotation direction.

Open/close control device for movable lid

In a mobile facsimile machine capable of sending and receiving messages through a transmitter and receiver, respectively, a first memory is provided for memorizing the identification of a sender when receiving signals. A second memory is provided for memorizing the position of the last signal received should communication be disconnected or disrupted during reception. A calling device automatically calls the sender using the identification in the first memory and sends the position of the signal at disruption from the second memory so the sender can retransmit from the point of disruption.

An attitude control system for an antenna on a mobile body is comprised of a supporting device for supporting the antenna in such a manner that the antenna is rotatable and is movable in the vertical direction, a driving device for driving the antenna, an attitude change detecting device for detecting a speed of the attitude of the antenna relative to to the source of radio wave, a first control device for controlling the driving device in such a manner that the antenna is driven for cancelling the deviation between the resultant of the attitude change detecting device and a correcting value a receiving device for receiving radio wave which is connected to the antenna, a second control device for changing the attitude of the antenna toward higher receiving level derived from the receiving device and a drift correcting device for renewing the correcting value in such a manner that accumulated vector becomes zero which is the accumulation of a vector upon the changing of the attitude of the antenna.

Attitude control system for antenna on mobile body

A secret communication control apparatus used to effect secret communication with communication equipment, for example, facsimile equipment, which transmits picture information by use of public communication lines. When a communication control code that is utilized to set a communication mode is to be transmitted, the intervention of the secret communication control apparatus in the communication is suspended by switching a change-over switch, so that the main body of the local communication equipment and the remote communication equipment perform direct transmission of the communication control code therebetween without passing it through the secret communication control apparatus. It is therefore possible to transmit the signal in the minimized time, that is, in the same way as in the case of ordinary, nonsecret communication.

Secret communication control apparatus

A data encripting transfer system includes a scanner for scanning an object to output an image signal, a data encripting device for encripting the image signal, and a data decoder for decoding the encripted image signal. The system further includes a card having the data encripting device and the data decoder, and a receiving device for receiving the card. The received card enables the data encripting device and the data decoder.

Data encripting transfer

Encoder/decoders are associated with conventional local and far-end communications equipment such as facsimile machines. Information to be faxed is encoded at one end, transmitted to the other end, and decoded, without affecting normal communications protocol or requiring other specialized equipment at either end. A secure information processing device is provided at each end, between the equipment and the communications line, and either encodes outgoing information or decodes incoming information, in accordance with a randomly generated key code, depending on whether the equipment at a particular end is transmitting or receiving a communication.
