Antenna device

An antenna device includes an antenna element to be fed with electric power from an external power supply and a ground element to be coupled to the antenna element. The antenna element and the ground element are formed of a conductive film and arranged to define a rectangular region in a plan view with at least one gap between the antenna element and the ground element. The antenna element has a shape of one of a polygon, a circle, and a part of the polygon or the circle. The antenna element includes a feeding part in its portion close to the ground element.

An antenna device includes a substrate; a first ground element that is arranged on the substrate; an antenna element that is arranged on the substrate and extends from its first end positioned near a side edge of the first ground element to its second end positioned away from the side edge; and a non-feed element that is arranged on the substrate, connected to the first ground element, and insulated from the antenna element. The non-feed element extends from its first end portion positioned near the side edge of the first ground element to a bending portion in a direction away from the side edge and extends from the bending portion to its second end portion along the side edge. A portion between the bending portion and the second end portion of the non-feed element intersects with the antenna element.

An antenna device to be inserted in a memory card slot of an electronic device, includes an insulating layer, an antenna element formed on one surface of the insulating layer, and a ground element formed on the other surface of the insulating layer, the antenna element and the ground element being formed such that at least a part of the antenna element and at least a part of the ground element protrude from the memory card slot of the electronic device when the antenna device is inserted in the memory card slot, respectively; and a ground pattern extending in parallel relationship with the antenna element to be electrically connected to at least the ground element.

A disclosed memory card having a built-in antenna and being connected to an electronic apparatus includes a circuit board configured to be covered by a case, an antenna element formed on one surface of the circuit board or on one surface of a board mounted on the circuit board, and a ground element formed on another surface of the circuit board or on another surface of the board mounted on the circuit board, wherein a part or all of the antenna element and a part or all of the ground element are formed to protrude outside the electronic apparatus when the memory card is connected to the electronic apparatus.

The present invention is a CardBus PC Card corresponding to a CardBus and having a CardBus connector, characterised in that it has a device corresponding to a PCI bus, having a specified function and having a first configuration space which corresponds to a PCI bus, and an interface circuit located between the device corresponding to a PCI bus and the CardBus connector, and having a second configuration space which corresponds to the CardBus, the first and second configuration spaces comprising a configuration space which corresponds to a CardBus. The above-mentioned present invention makes it possible to configure a PC Card complying with a CardBus and having the configuration space which is required for a CardBus.
