An air dehumidifying apparatus having a cyclone separator, a primary filter, a secondary filter, and a separation membrane element made of a special high polymer for passing steam smoothly and hardly passing air. The elements of the apparatus are disposed in a flow direction of air, so that the air may pass sequentially. Also, a casing is provided for forming an outer wall of the cyclone separator and accommodating the primary and secondary filter and separation membrane element. Large particles of oil, moisture, dust and other foreign matter are removed by the cyclone separator. As a result, the life of the primary filter is extended. By putting the filters and separation membrane element into one casing, the apparatus is reduced in size, and is installed easily.

A drive system having a belt with a length and a plurality of teeth spaced regularly along the length of the belt and a first pulley having a plurality of grooves for receiving the belt teeth with the belt and first pulley in operative relationship. Method of manufacturing low-edge V-belts

A resistance temperature detector measures the temperature of fluid flowing through a pipe at a given point in the pipe. In the temperature detector, normal and backup temperature sensing resistance elements are secured with inorganic adhesive onto an inner wall surface of a thin-walled tubular sheath having its tip end closed. These temperature sensing resistance elements are disposed in spaced parallel relationship and are respectively connected to insulated lead wires separately disposed within the resistance temperature detector. The resistance temperature detector also includes a sheath cable assembly having sheathed cables, each of which is electrically connected to a respective one of the insulated lead wires and secured to the other end of the tubular sheath. Thereby a sealed vacant space is defined within the temperature sensing assembly. The detector also includes preferred structure for the temperature sensing resistance element and preferable well structures to house the proposed resistance temperature detector.

A power transmission V-belt for transmitting high loads with extended useful life. The portion of the V-belt in which the tensile elements thereof are embedded is formed of a rubber having short reinforcing fibers distributed therein and oriented longitudinally of the belt. Different embodiments of both wrapped and raw edge belts embodying the invention are disclosed. Embodiments in which the outermost portion of the tension section and the innermost portion of the compression section are free of the longitudinally extending short fibers are also disclosed. Preferred amounts of the short fiber material and the hardness of the rubber are disclosed.

V-belt for high load power transmission

A method of forming a long cogged power transmission belt including extending a continuous looped vulcanizable belt preform element about a pair of axially parallel spaced support members, press-forming a first preselected length portion of the element disposed between the support members to form a first longitudinally extending series of cogs therein, vulcanizing the press-formed portion, press-forming a second, similar length portion of the element extending from the first portion and disposed between the support members to form a second longitudinally extending series of cogs therein continuing from the first series, vulcanizing the second press-formed portion, repeating the press-forming and vulcanizing operations if necessary until a final unformed portion of the belt extending from the last formed series of cogs and disposed between the support members has a length less than the preselected length, longitudinally stretching the final unformed portion to cause it to have a length approximately equal to the preselected length, press-forming the stretched final unformed portion to form a final longitudinally extending series of cogs therein to define a continuous series of substantially uniformly spaced cogs along the entire length of the looped element, and vulcanizing the final series of cogs.

Method of manufacture of long cogged V-belts

A V-belt construction wherein a belt body defining an inner compression rubber portion and an outer compression rubber portion with tensile cords extending longitudinally therethrough is provided with a plurality of transversely extending reinforcing staple fibers distributed in the outer compression rubber portion such that the tensile cords are embedded within the distribution of the staple fibers. V-belts of the invention are provided both in raw edge and fabric-covered form. The rubber in which the tensile cords are embedded preferably has a hardness in the range of approximately 70.degree. to 90.degree.. Different distributions of the transverse staple fibers are disclosed.
