A stator includes a stator core, a winding, and a temperature sensor. In the stator core, a plurality of slots are formed in a circumferential direction of the stator. The winding is formed by a plurality of conductors which are housed in the slots and are electrically connected. The slots are formed such that a predetermined number of the conductors are housed and arrayed in a radial direction of the stator. The temperature sensor is located in at least one of the slots and detects temperature of the conductors.

Stator and rotating electric machine including the same

A stator includes a hollow cylindrical stator core and a stator coil. The stator core has a plurality of slots formed therein. The stator coil is provided in the slots of the stator core in a plurality of layers in a radial direction of the stator core, and includes a first winding and a second winding. The first winding extends around the stator core so as to be located at the (2n&#x2212;1)th and 2nth layers of the stator coil, and has an end located at the 2nth layer, where n is a natural number. The second winding extends around the stator core so as to be located at the (2n+1)th and (2n+2)th layers of the stator coil, and has an end located at the (2n+1)th layer. The ends of the first and second windings, which are respectively located at the 2nth and (2n+1)th layers, are electrically connected to each other.

In a stator having a stator core and phase windings, slots are formed in the stator core and each slot accommodates conductors in a layer structure from one end to the other end of the slot in a radial direction of the stator core. The phase windings in one phase have conductors accommodated in a first slot and a second slot which are adjacently formed in the stator core. An electrical connection between the conductors in a n-th layer and the conductors in a (n+1)-th layer includes that the conductors accommodated in the first slot are electrically connected together, the conductors accommodated in the second slot are electrically connected together, and the conductors accommodated in the first slot are electrically connected with the conductors accommodated in the second slot. This connection eliminates a phase difference in the first slot and the second slot in a distributed winding structure.

In a stator having a stator core and three phase windings, slots are formed in the stator core. The phase winding are accommodated in layers, from one side to the other side in the corresponding slot along a radial direction of the stator core. The phase windings are arranged in a star-delta composite connection structure. The phase winding in each phase is comprised of conductors accommodated in a first slot and a second slot adjacently arranged in the stator core so that the conductor in the n-th layer is electrically connected to the conductor in the (n+1)-th layer, ascending order, per slot. Because each winding has the same length and no difference in electric potential occurs between the star connection and the delta connection, this structure suppress generation of operation noise and a circulating current through the stator core and prevents loss due to the circulating current.

A rotor for an electric rotating machine includes a hollow cylindrical rotor core and a plurality of magnets. The rotor core has a plurality of magnet-receiving holes formed therein. Each of the magnet-receiving holes has a plurality of wall surfaces including a radially innermost wall surface which is positioned radially innermost among the plurality of wall surfaces. Each of the magnets is received in a corresponding one of the magnet-receiving holes of the rotor core. Further, each of the magnets is arranged in the corresponding magnet-receiving hole so that among the thermal resistances between the magnet and the plurality of wall surfaces of the corresponding magnet-receiving hole, the thermal resistance between the magnet and the radially innermost wall surface of the corresponding magnet-receiving hole is lowest.

Rotor for electric rotating machine and method of manufacturing the same

A rotating electric machine includes a rotor, a stator and an Insulating resin. The stator includes a stator core and a stator coil that is partially received in slots of the stator core so as to have a pair of coil end parts protruding outside of the slots respectively on opposite axial sides of the stator core. The stator coil is formed of a plurality of electric wire segments, each of which includes an electric conductor and an Insulating coat that covers an outer surface of the electric conductor. The insulating resin is applied to the coil end parts of the stator coil so as to cover the outer surfaces of the insulating coats of the electric wire segments forming the stator coil. Further, a tensile strength of the insulating coats of the electric wire segments is higher than an adhesion strength between the insulating resin and the insulating coats.

An exhaust purifying apparatus of an internal combustion engine is provided. The exhaust purifying apparatus includes a CO oxidation catalyst disposed in the exhaust flow passage of an internal combustion engine and capable of oxidizing and thereby purifying CO in the exhaust, and an HC adsorbent material loaded with a noble metal, for adsorbing HC in the exhaust. The exhaust purifying apparatus further includes an NOx adsorbent material for adsorbing NOx in the exhaust. These adsorbent materials are located on the upstream side in the exhaust flow direction with respect to the CO oxidation catalyst and disposed in order from the upstream. The CO oxidation catalyst contains Pd and CeOand is obtained by an oxidation treatment at a temperature of 850 to 950&#xb0; C. The amount of Pd supported in the CO oxidation catalyst is from 0.1 to 2.5 mass % based on CeO.

An in-vehicle handsfree apparatus establishes a handsfree profile connection with a first cellular phone and a second cellular phone simultaneously. It is assumed that while the first cellular phone is in a calling state, the second cellular phone receives an incoming call. When a user operates a response to the second cellular phone in the incoming call receiving state, a suspension request signal is transmitted to the first cellular phone in the calling state to thereby switch the call link of the first cellular phone to a suspending state. In contrast, an incoming call response request signal is transmitted to the second cellular phone to thereby switch the call link of the second cellular phone from the incoming call receiving state to a calling state. The connection partner of a call sound path is changed from the first cellular phone to the second cellular phone.

In-vehicle handsfree apparatus

A rotor includes a rotor core comprised of steel sheets that are laminated in the axial direction of the rotor core and a rotating component configured to rotate together with the rotor core. Each of the steel sheets has a positioning portion for circumferentially positioning the steel sheet with respect to the rotating component and is formed of a rolled steel material. For each of the steel sheets, the direction of rolling of the steel sheet is circumferentially offset from both imaginary lines X and Y by predetermined angles. Each of the steel sheets is shaped so that the circumferential position of the positioning portion thereof remains unchanged when the steel sheet is front-back inverted about the imaginary line X. When viewed along the axial direction, at least one of the steel sheets is front-back inverted with respect to and thus forms a mirror image of the other steel sheets.

At least one of outbound call history data, inbound call history data, and phone book data is transferred to a handsfree apparatus for use in a vehicle at a predetermined timing for the purpose of obtaining near realtime update of the inbound/outbound call history data from a cellular phone. By utilizing simultaneous connection of HFP and PBAP, the handsfree apparatus establishes a Bluetooth communication with the cellular phone through HFP first, and then establishes another communication through PBAP simultaneously, for receiving the inbound call history data and the outbound call history data stored before establishing the Bluetooth communication from the cellular phone. The handsfree apparatus can thus be capable of placing a call by using the outbound call history data and the inbound call history data stored in a work memory after receiving those data.

An in-vehicle hands-free apparatus transfers, from a cellular phone to the hands-free apparatus, information regarding all the e-mails received from a communication network and stored in the cellular phone, right after the connection of a Bluetooth (BT) communication channel between the cellular phone and the hands-free apparatus. Thus, received e-mails that are received by the cellular phone from the communication network during a BT communication channel disconnection time can be synchronized between the cellular phone and the in-vehicle hands-free apparatus, thereby allowing the user to handle, on the hands-free apparatus, the received e-mails that have been received by the cellular phone while the BT communication channel is absent between the cellular phone and the hands-free apparatus.

A cellular phone device stores mail information related to an electronic mail exchanged with a communication network. A communication unit is configured to connect with the cellular phone device via a wireless communication. Immediately after connection of the wireless communication between the communication unit and the cellular phone device, a receiving unit receives specific mail information among mail information stored in the cellular phone device. The specific mail information is related to an electronic mail exchanged in a time period between previous disconnection from the cellular phone device and present connection with the cellular phone device.
