Disclosed is an adhesive sheet comprising a base sheet, an undercoat layer formed on the base sheet, a release agent layer formed on the undercoat layer, an adhesive layer formed on the release agent layer and a face stock disposed on the adhesive layer, wherein the undercoat layer comprises (a) a copolymer obtained by emulsion-copolymerizing at least one hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acrylic ester with at least one of other monomers copolymerizable therewith and (b) a pigment.

Adhesive sheet

Provided herein is an improved self-adhesive sheet composed of a base member having a water-soluble polymer layer on its reverse side and a release member, with a pressure sensitive adhesive layer interposed between them, in which the bond strength between the water-soluble polymer layer and the pressure sensitive adhesive layer remains high. It can be stuck readily without moistening; and yet it can be peeled off easily simply by dipping in water.

Self-adhesive sheet

Disclosed are an adhesive sheet comprising a release sheet base material, an undercoat layer formed on the release sheet base material, a release agent layer formed on the undercoat layer, an adhesive layer formed on the release agent layer and a surface sheet formed on the adhesive layer, the adhesive sheet being characterized in that the undercoat layer comprises a water-dispersible acrylate or methacrylate copolymer resin having an emulsifier content of about 2 to about 10 wt. % based on the total amount of the monomers used for preparing the copolymer and which resin has a glass transition temperature of about -60.degree. to about 20.degree. C., and that the release sheet base material having the undercoat layer formed thereon, as a whole, has a bulk density of up to 1.0 g/cm.sup.3, and a process for preparing a release sheet comprising a release sheet base material, an undercoat layer and a relase agent layer.

A heat-sensitive record material having a thick base support consisting of at least two base sheets and at least one binder layer, said base support weighing at least 150 g/m.sup.2 and having an excellent dimensional stability without accompaniment of any cockles and any background fogginess. It is particularly suitable for use in providing tags, tickets, cards, price marks etc. A process for the production of said heat-sensitive record material by the use of a binder consisting essentially of at least one thermoplastic polymer for which the vicat softening temperature is 20.degree. C. to 180.degree. C. and preferably 30.degree. C. to 160.degree. C.
