Even for encrypted programs, when all modules are decrypted all at once at the time of execution, it is possible to analyze codes stored within a storage area. Therefore, a program execution and decryption method that prevents easy analysis via reverse-engineering is required. In order to solve the aforementioned problem, this invention provides a program complex that allows execution of modules while modules are being decrypted upon execution, even if a program has been started. Thereby, modules cannot be easily analyzed and program tamper resistance can be improved.

Platemaking apparatus

An image recording apparatus () causes a recording head () to move through a distance corresponding to one half of the recording width of the recording head () in a sub-scanning direction each time a recording drum () makes one rotation. This, light emitting devices () record two line data in advance, and thereafter following light emitting devices () record the same line data repeatedly at the same position. This increases the energy of laser light beams given to a recording position on a printing plate (P) to accomplish the recording of an image with reliability. The recording speed is not extremely decreased because not all light emitting devices (to) are used to make the repeated recordings at the same position on the printing plate (P). Further, the construction of optical systems and driving systems in the image recording apparatus is not complicated.

Apparatus for and method of recording image

A display controller includes: an output device with a display and an audio output port; external storage; an external input device; and a key input device. On the external storage, menu for map information, positional coordinates of the menu when displayed on the screen, and positional coordinates of the map information when displayed on the screen are stored. The external input device includes a navigation controller and a GPS receiver. When an image scrolling instruction is input through the key input device, the menu moves in the direction in which the display image is moving.

Display control with movable or updatable auxiliary information

A recording apparatus for recording compressed video data has compressed video data generator for generating a compressed video data having a plurality of intra frames each of which has no cross-reference to any other frames, and bidirectional interpolated frames and predictive frames each of which has cross-reference to other frame. In the first cycle operation, address detector detects addresses of the intra frames and stores the detected addresses in a memory. A scan information generator generates, with reference to the stored addresses in the memory, scan information for an independent frame including one or two addresses of advanced intra frames and one or two addresses of previous intra frames. The scan information is inserted to each frame and then recorded on a disk. During the reproduce of the disk, the scan information is detected to have a quick access to the intra frame located near by.

An adding portion 105 superposes a density signal (a signal having its level changing in accordance with a density of a printed image) from a density signal generator 101 on a carry signal (a signal in the form of a sine wave having a prescribed frequency and a prescribed amplitude) from a carry signal generator 102 to generate an engraving signal. A stylus included in an engraving head 21 reciprocatively vibrates according to the applied engraving signal to engrave cells on a gravure cylinder rotating in the main scanning direction. A sub-scanning motor 107 moves the engraving head 21 in a sub-scanning direction perpendicular to the main scanning direction every time cells for one line in the main scanning direction of the gravure cylinder have been engraved. At this time, the moved amount of the engraving head 21 in the sub-scanning direction is controlled so that cells adjacent in the sub-scanning direction partially overlap with each other in every other line.

A method of controlling the selections on a reproducible control data structure with two different selection control methods. According to a first control method, single frame plural selectors, to each of which a numerical identifier has been added, are displayed. Branch tables grouping branch data according to selector numbers are provided. A user makes a selection by selecting a selector number. According to a second control method, plural sectors are displayed in a single frame. A user-specified selector and other selectors are provided for visually differentiating between the selectors as a means of prompting user confirmation of the specified selector. A selection confirmed by the user controls the selection by means of the branch data. Branch data usable by both the first control method and the second control method is grouped together by providing the branch data used by the second control method in the branch table used by the first control method.

Accessing a desk-type recording medium having reproduction control data

An optical beam scanning system for scanning photosensitive material (1) comprises a laser (201), a beam splitter (204) for producing multibeams (LB.sub.a, LB.sub.b), AOM's (207a, 207b), a multibeam adjuster (300) for turning the multibeams to intersect each other at a prescribed point (P.sub.C), a horizontal expander (211), an AOD (213), a vertical expander (214), a deflection direction adjuster (400) for rotating a deflection direction of the multibeams, and a variable focusing mechanism (500) comprising a plurality of object lenses (501-504). A pixel pitch and a spot diameter on the photosensitive material can be changed separately from each other by exchanging the object lenses and by adjusting an angle of intersection of multibeams (B.sub.a, B.sub.b) by means of the multibeam adjuster. Cylindrical lenses of the horizontal and vertical expanders are so positioned that they compensate a cylindrical lensing effect of the AOD.

Optical beam scanning system

An optical beam scanning apparatus includes a beam-to-beam distance adjuster (300) for rotationally displacing a beam splitter (301). The beam-to-beam distance adjuster (300) comprises three arm members (312, 313, 314) which are linked to each other through notch portions (323, 324). A member (315) is linked to the arm member (313). The beam splitter (301) is secured on the member (315) from which a plate spring (316) extends. A projection member (317) is provided between a leading edge portion of the plate spring (316) and the arm member (314). A rotation angle of the beam splitter (301) can be changed by actuating three arm members (312, 313, 314) in link motion, whereby a beam-to-beam distance between two beams (B.sub.a, B.sub.b) can be also changed.
