A code reader includes an illumination section, an imaging unit having a Scheimpflug optical system, a control unit that executes decoding processing on the code attached to a workpiece based on an image output from the imaging unit, and a housing that stores the illumination section, the imaging unit, and the control unit and has a light receiving window. The light receiving window is provided on the first side surface of the housing, and has a short side extending in a lateral direction and a long side, longer than the short side, extending in a longitudinal direction. A plane formed by the light receiving window intersects a plane formed by the focal plane of the Scheimpflug optical system. The illumination section is disposed adjacent to the light receiving window in the lateral direction of the light receiving window.

An automatic hair washer which has plural washing nozzles for spouting wash water to a head part, and includes a hot water storing tank for storing wash water, a hot water supplying pump for pumping wash water from the hot water storing tank and supplying the pumped wash water to the washing nozzles. A method of manufacturing an electrode for a fuel cell comprises placing a coating roller opposing a feeding roller with a space through which an electrode substrate is passed, placing a doctor roller with respect to the coating roller so as to keep a space which is adjustable, arranging a paste reservoir above the doctor roller and the coating roller so that paste flows to the space between the doctor roller and the coating roller, rotating the feeding roller in a specified direction while the coating roller is rotated in the same direction as the feeding roller to transfer the paste on the electrode substrate.
