A heat exchanger includes plate-shaped fins and a plurality of heat transfer pipes attached to the fins so as to intersect the fins. The heat transfer pipes are disposed at intervals in a long-edge direction of the fins. The fins have a wave shape at at least a portion thereof and are capable of expanding and contracting in the long-edge direction.

Provided is an outdoor unit for use in a refrigeration cycle apparatus circulating refrigerant mixture inclusive of 1,1,2-trifluoroethylene, the outdoor unit including: a casing; a pipe configured to allow the refrigerant mixture to flow through the pipe, the pipe being accommodated inside the casing and including a bend portion, the bend portion including a breakage-guide structure having a pressure resistance lower than a pressure resistance of rest of the pipe; and a plate interposed between the breakage-guide structure and outside of the casing.

Outdoor unit

A condenser of a refrigeration cycle apparatus includes a first passage, a second passage, and a joint. The first passage connects to the compressor at a first end and is constituted of, at a second end, a first flat heat transfer tube including a plurality of passages thereof. The second passage connects to the expansion device at a first end and is constituted of, at a second end, a second flat heat transfer tube including a plurality of passages thereof. The joint joins the first flat heat transfer tube and the second flat heat transfer tube and bends a flow of the hydrofluoroolefin-based refrigerant between the first flat heat transfer tube and the second flat heat transfer tube. A length of the second passage is equal to or shorter than a length of the first passage. The joint is provided, inside thereof, with a hollow portion.

Refrigeration cycle apparatus

A dehumidifier includes: a housing; a refrigerant circuit configured to allow low GWP refrigerant to circulate therethrough, the refrigerant circuit including a compressor having a variable operating frequency, a condenser, a pressure reducing device, and an evaporator, which are provided in the housing, the low GWP refrigerant being flammable and having a value of GWP of 6 or less; a blowing fan, which is provided in the housing, and is configured to take in air in a room into the housing and cause the taken-in air to pass through the evaporator and the condenser before blowing out the air from the housing into the room; and a water storage tank, which is provided below the evaporator, and is configured to accumulate dew condensation water generated in the evaporator, a number of refrigerant paths passing through the evaporator being greater than a number of refrigerant paths passing through the condenser.

A heat pump apparatus, including: a two-cylinder compressor including: an electric motor; two compression units to be driven by the electric motor, the two-cylinder compressor being structured to switch between two operation modes including single operation in which one of the compression units is brought into a non-compression state, and parallel operation in which both the compression units are brought into a compression state; an inverter drive control device supplying drive power to the electric motor of the two-cylinder compressor; an operation mode detecting-determining unit determining a current operation mode based on an electric signal acquired from the inverter drive control device; and a capacity control device determining a rotating frequency of the electric motor so that a temperature of a target object is brought close to a set value, to thereby control the inverter drive control device based on a result of determination of the operation mode detecting-determining unit.

Heat pump apparatus

A refrigeration cycle apparatus includes refrigerant circuits in which a high pressure shell compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, an expansion valve, and an indoor heat exchanger are connected; a mixed refrigerant made up of a mixture of 1,1,2-trifluoroethylene, difluoromethane, and 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene and configured to circulate through the refrigerant circuits, the mixed refrigerant containing less than 50 wt % of 1,2,2-trifluoroetylene and a mixing ratio of difluoromethane being between 0.7 times and two times (both inclusive) that of 1,2,2-trifluoroetylene in terms of weight ratio, in a state before the mixed refrigerant is enclosed in the refrigerant circuits; and a refrigerating machine oil enclosed in the refrigerant circuits and prepared such that difluoromethane is least soluble in the refrigerating machine oil.

A refrigeration cycle apparatus includes refrigerant circuits in which a high pressure shell compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, an expansion valve, and an indoor heat exchanger are connected; a mixed refrigerant containing 1,1,2-trifluoroethylene and a refrigerant other than 1,1,2-trifluorothylene and circulating through the refrigerant circuits; and a refrigerating machine oil enclosed in the refrigerant circuits and adjusted such that 1,1,2-trifluoroethylene will be more soluble therein than the other refrigerant is.

A refrigeration cycle apparatus includes a refrigerant circuit including a compressor, a condenser (outdoor heat exchanger), an expansion valve, and an evaporator (indoor heat exchanger), a fan configured to blow air to the condenser, a fan configured to blow air to the evaporator, and a controller configured to control at least one of a frequency of the compressor, an opening degree of the expansion valve, a rotation speed of the fan, and a rotation speed of the fan, such that the refrigerant sucked into the compressor has a quality of 1.0 or greater. The refrigerant circuit is configured for use with a refrigerant mixture inclusive of 30 wt % to 50% wt ethylene-based hydrofluorocarbon refrigerant.

In a heat exchanger, a first heat exchange unit is formed by curving a third heat exchange unit having a planar shape through L-shape bending, and a second heat exchange unit is formed by curving a fourth heat exchange unit having a planar shape through the L-shape bending, independently of the third heat exchange unit. The first heat exchange unit and the second heat exchange unit are arranged so as to be opposed to each other along a corner portion between adjacent two side surfaces of a casing.

An indoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus includes a main heat exchanger unit and a sub heat exchanger unit, the main heat exchanger unit includes a first main heat exchanger disposed at a front side of a case and a first heat-transfer pipe extending in a vertical direction, and a second main heat exchanger disposed at a back side of the case and a second heat-transfer pipe extending in the vertical direction. Indoor unit for air-conditioning apparatus

An indoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus includes a case, an air-sending fan, and a heat exchanger unit. The heat exchanger unit includes a plurality of heat-transfer pipes extending in a vertical direction and forming a plurality of refrigerant passages in a width direction of the case and an air flow direction, and a plurality of headers connected to both ends of the plurality of heat-transfer pipes to allow the refrigerant to flow between the plurality of heat-transfer pipes. The plurality of headers include a plurality of division headers dividing and connecting the plurality of heat-transfer pipes arranged in the air flow direction and connecting in parallel the plurality of heat-transfer pipes arranged in the width direction, and a return header connecting and turning back the plurality of divided refrigerant passages arranged in the air flow direction and connecting in parallel the plurality of heat-transfer pipes arranged in the width direction.

A multi-cylinder rotary compressor includes plural compression mechanism parts. A drawing force is applied to a vane of at least one of the compression mechanism parts radially outward with respect to a drive shaft, making a pressing force pressing the vane toward a piston smaller than in other compression mechanism parts. In a normal state, a pressing force due to a gas pressure difference between a suction pressure and a discharge pressure is larger than the drawing force, and a vane front end is pressed against a rotary piston peripheral wall. When the drawing force becomes greater than the pressing force, the vane front end is moved to separate from the rotary piston peripheral wall with a space through which oil is introduced from a sealed container, and a retention mechanism retains the vane separated from the piston, and the compression mechanism part switches to an uncompressed state.

Multi-cylinder rotary compressor and vapor compression refrigeration cycle system including the multi-cylinder rotary compressor

A sealed compressor includes a centrifugal impeller above a rotor to synchronously rotate. A refrigerant rises through a rotor air hole, flows in an upper space, and flows out from a discharge pipe. The centrifugal impeller includes an oil separation plate on the rotor, and plural vanes standing on the oil separation plate, and forms inter-vane flow passages between adjacent vanes, and a vane inner flow passage that guides refrigerant from the rotor air hole to inner entrances of the inter-vane flow passages. Outer exits of the inter-vane flow passages are disposed along an entire circumference, and refrigerant increased in pressure while passing through the inter-vane flow passages flows out from the outer exits to the upper space. The oil separation plate closes a short-circuit passage through which the refrigerant directly flows from the vane inner flow passages to the discharge pipe without passing through the inter-vane flow passages.
