The present invention provides technology with high production efficiency for an elastic connector that electrically connects two connection target members. The technology enables an initial product to be quickly completed with a low initial cost, in correspondence to any distance between the connection target members and any angle formed between them. An elastic connector was obtained by forming a major-axis columnar body, in which a conductive part was formed by cross linking and hardening (solidifying) conductive members inside a tube-like part formed of an insulative rubber tube, and then cutting the major-axis columnar body with a cutting blade along a cutting line, which is in a direction crossing the axis of the major-axis columnar body, to shorten the major-axis columnar body. This elastic connector eliminates the need to create a new metal mold in its manufacturing. When a length to which the major-axis columnar body is cut is appropriately changed and it is cut to that length, an elastic connector that suit any distance between the connection target members and any angle formed between them can be obtained.

According to the present invention, there is provided a holder having a pressure flange not to be easily disengaged from a small-sized electronic part in pressing and accommodating the holder having the small-sized electronic part in a mounting recess. A holder includes a projecting portion protruding from a pressing flange toward a cylinder axis of a holding portion, formed in a portion having a predetermined length of an inner edge of the pressing flange. With this construction, when the holder accommodating a small-sized electronic part is mounted to a casing of an apparatus, even if the pressing flange is rolled up and about to be disengaged from the small-sized electronic part, the projecting portion engages with the small-sized electronic part, thereby preventing the pressing flange from being rolled up.

The present invention Provides a discharge tube connector which suppresses the occurrence of a damage of a discharge tube at the time of installation and can be easily installed. An end electrode of the discharge tube and a board electrode on a circuit board can be electrically connected with each other through a conductive connection portion without using lead wires, so a damage such as a crack and the like, of a light-emitting portion of the discharge tube can be avoided. When a holding portion is made of a rubber-like elastic material, the conductive connection portion has rubber-like elasticity, so the conductive connection portion can be pressed between the end electrode and the board electrode on the circuit board to conductively connect the end electrode with the board electrode. Therefore, the soldering operation can be omitted. Thus, installation does not take time, so a manufacturing cost can be reduced.

A holder is for a small-sized acoustic element and a mounting structure for the same allowing mounting to a casing with a sound hole in a side surface thereof without involving a substantial increase in the thickness of a portable communication apparatus. The holder for a microphone has a cylindrical portion for holding the outer peripheral surface of a small-sized acoustic element. The cylindrical portion is equipped with an inwardly directed flange adapted to be engaged with a holed surface of the small-sized acoustic element and constructed of an annular rubber-like elastic member. Further, the cylindrical portion is provided with a groove-shaped sound hole whose one end is open in the inner peripheral surface of the inwardly directed flange and whose other end is open in the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion, thus communicating with both the holed surface of the small-sized acoustic element and the sound hole formed in a side surface of the casing of the portable communication apparatus.

An apparatus for manufacturing an anisotropic formed body in which functional, magnetic fine particles are oriented in a specific direction within a matrix and in which anisotropy is given to properties attributable to the functional fine particles. The apparatus allows use of a wide variety of materials as the functional fine particles and realizes an anisotropy which is parallel and of a uniform interval within a large area. Further, a method for manufacturing an anisotropic formed body, includes applying, by using a superconducting magnet device, a uniform and parallel magnetic field with magnetic lines of force at equal intervals and parallel to each other, to a mold in which the matrix is filled with a liquid molding material containing functional, magnetic fine particles, to orient the functional fine particles in a direction of the magnetic lines of force, whereby the liquid molding material subsequently hardens.

Apparatus and method for manufacturing an anisotropic formed body

A method is provided for manufacturing a holder which has a holding part and a connector part. The holding part has an elastic body holding a built-in electronic part in a position. The method steps include pouring a liquid polymer mixed with a magnetic electric conductor into a mold for forming the holder. A magnetic force is applied to a desired position in the mold to orient the magnetic electric conductor to form a connector pattern of the connector part with the magnetic force. A holding part is molded integrally with the connector part to provide a one piece integral structure by crosslinking the liquid polymer. The magnetic electric conductor may be linked together by a force of a magnetic field. This defines a conductive passage in the connector part.

A holder forming monolithically a holder portion for holding a small size sound device and an elastic conductive connector for electrically connecting said small size sound device , wherein an acoustically required communication sound hole is provided on a point corresponding to the sound hole on the back face of the small size sound device and, moreover, a test electrode section used for leak test is provided, separately from the elastic conductive connector without obstructing the acoustically required sound hole on the back face of the small size sound device and allowing also to simplify the mounting process, reduce the production cost, reduce the mounting position space of the small size sound device , and facilitate the leak test of the small size sound device

A holder with electrodes of a built-in electronic part such as a small type microphone or a loud speaker, etc. and electrodes of a substrate are connected with each other. The holder uses an elastic connector part, and a holding part to hold the built-in electronic part, which is integrally molded with the elastic connector, and thereby a soldering process for connecting lead wires, etc. is eliminated. Holder parts of complex shape can be integrally molded with the elastic connector part.
