Provided is a display device in which design properties have been improved by eliminating the flickering when the display level changes. A microcomputer () causes light emission of first LEDs (and) which are the first and second ones counting from the right end among the emitting first LEDs (to), with decreasing brightness towards the right end. Furthermore, the microcomputer () causes light emission of second LEDs from a second LED () which is disposed at the right end of the second LEDs (to), to a second LED () which is disposed at a position overlapped with the first LEDs (and) that emit light with decreasing brightness towards the right end, and also causes light emission of second LEDs (and), which are the first and second ones counting from the left end among the emitting second LEDs (to), with decreasing brightness towards the left end.

Light display device for displaying a display level

A translucent projector screen on which light from a display unit disposed obliquely forward of the screen is projected, said projector screen integrally includes: a sheet-shaped main body; a plurality of convex lenses integrally formed on a surface of the main body; and a plurality of reflective members disposed on the main body corresponding to the convex lenses and respectively reflecting the display light emitted to the convex lenses in a specific incident angle toward the convex lenses other than the convex lenses to which the display light is emitted. The convex lenses have spherical surfaces or aspheric surfaces so that respectively collect the display light to the reflective members, and emit the display light reflected by the reflective members in a specific output angle.

Projector screen and display system

To provide protection to the wiring of a light source provided on a ring member which is movably attached to a display screen of a display device, a plurality of connector is arranged on a connecting member where an end of a FPC wiring, which supplies electricity to a light source provided on the ring member and an end of a FFC wiring are connected to, and together with the connecting member a cover is connected to a moving member which has a covering board provided with a fixing pieces which fixes the end of each FPC and FFC wiring to the connecting board.

Display apparatus

The object of the invention is to provide an improved vehicle display device that can avoid transmitting noise generated by vibration of a power source, as well as, can prevent the vibration of the power source from being transmitted into the other members or areas. The afore-mentioned object can be achieved by a vehicle display device comprising a circular dial member positioned in front of a display field of a display, at least partly surrounding the display field, and traveling linearly across the display field in cases where a movable member connected thereto is driven by a power source, the power source being coupled to a support member through a damper.

Vehicle display device

A head-up display apparatus includes a display unit outputting display light, a mirror for reflecting the display light toward an eye point, a mirror holder to be turned up/down for receiving and holding the mirror, a holder top cover extending toward the eye point when the mirror holder is turned up, and a holder rear cover so as to be placed at an opposite side of the eye point when the mirror holder is turned up. The holder rear cover has a surface shape to become in the same outline as that of the instrument panel when the holder rear cover covers totally an opening provided at the instrument panel in case that the mirror holder is turned down. The holder rear cover is continued to the holder top cover with an acute angle.

Head-up display apparatus

Providing a display apparatus with a structure suitable to support a ring-shaped member for three-dimensional effect to express information for recognition of a partial area of a display area of a display unit by surrounding the partial area with the ring-shaped member arranged in front of the display area so as to be movable linearly along the display area, the ring-shaped member is supported at the top side and the bottom side of the rear edge in a top-bottom direction along the display area and perpendicular to a direction of the linear motion, by each mount piece of the supporting member. Front portions of the mount pieces located in front of the display area are completely covered by the facing plate located between the front portions and the front large diameter portion of the ring-shaped member.

When a CPU judges that a vehicle is stopped, a display image surrounded by a separator is displayed in such a first quality that a driver can watch while the display image is moving from a first display area to a second display area, and the motor is driven in a relatively low first speed to move the separator. When the CPU judges that the vehicle is running, the separator is rapidly moved and data about the vehicle such as warning is rapidly displayed.

Moving display apparatus for a vehicle

A plate-shaped display device is partitioned into a meter display area and a HUD display area. Images displayed on the display device are visible on both front and rear surfaces of the display device. A direct image displayed on the meter display area is projected toward an eye range of a vehicle driver. A reflected image displayed on the HUD display area is firstly projected in a direction opposite to the eye range. Then, the reflected image is reflected at a magnifying mirror and a windshield, then finally projected toward the eye range.

Display apparatus for vehicle

Providing a head-up display apparatus capable of receiving a mirror, which projects from a line of an instrument panel when in use, without increasing a receiving section and spoiling a beauty of the instrument panel, and a mirror unit used in the same, a mirror is rotated about an axis perpendicular to a reflecting surface of the mirror so as to project a part of the mirror from the opening when in use, and take in the projected part of the mirror down within the opening when not in use. Thus, the whole mirror can be received in the receiving section only by rotational motion.

When a polarization axis of a first polarizing plate is parallel to that of a second polarizing plate, a light emitted from a backlight is transmitted, on the other hand, when a polarization axis of the first polarizing plate is orthogonal with that of the second polarizing plate, a light emitted from the backlight is mostly blocked off. A character and scale are constructed by a &#xbd;&#x3bb; phase difference plate, so that the emitted light from the backlight, which enters to the character and scale, has a deflection direction reverse to that of the first polarizing plate. When the light emitted from the backlight is blocked, differently from a conventional artificial (pseudo) black color, a color extremely close to black color is seen. The contrast ratio and visibility are improved.

Display device

In a head-up display apparatus for a vehicle, an aspherical surface of a reflection mirror compensates a distorted projected image caused by non-planarity of a windshield at a predetermined projection area thereon. When moving an eye point of a vehicle driver, an adjustment mechanism moves a stopper pushing the reflection mirror to adjust a reflecting angle so that the reflection mirror reflects light beams to the projection area and the projection area reflects the light beams toward the eye range. During the angle adjustment, an urging member and the stopper hold the reflection mirror.

A head-up display device having an excellent appearance, which has a simple structure and an excellent design upon both nonuse and use, is provided. A cover having a shape equivalent to that of an aperture formed on an upper surface of a housing is attached on an upper surface of a retractable reflector. The cover slides on the upper surface of the reflector cooperating with a retractable motion of the reflector, thereby performing the opening and closing action of the aperture. When the reflector takes its falling-down posture, the reflector and its rotation shaft can be shielded from an eye range and the number of the parting lines can be reduced.
