A container has flexible walls defining an interior. A mixer is arranged in the interior of the container and includes a mixer shaft with opposite first and second ends. A mixing element is mounted to the first end of the mixer shaft. The second end of the mixer shaft is fixed magnetically to a coupling piece disposed on the exterior of the flexible wall of the container. The coupling piece is connected operatively to a force introducing device that generates movement of the mixer.

The invention discloses an apparatus for removing samples or introducing fluids from/into system(s) having flexible walls. A sampler/fluid dispenser () is fixed on the outside with a connecting area () of its base () on a sample removal region/fluid dispensing region () of the flexible wall () and, in its interior, has a severing element (). At least the severing element () can be pushed forward in the direction of the sample removal region/fluid dispensing region () in order to remove the samples and in order to introduce fluids, in such a way that the wall () can be perforated within the sample removal region/fluid dispensing region (). The system () comprises containers, bags or tubes for filling, mixing, transporting, storage of media, such as biological liquids, sera, buffers, ultra-pure water and can be used as biological reactors or cell culture vessels in the pharmaceutical and biotechnical industry.

The invention relates to a device () for metering media () and comprises at least one storage vessel (), a measuring vessel () and a target vessel () that are interconnected to give one unit. By the exertion of force on the media () to be metered they can communicate between the storage vessel () and the measuring vessel () and can then be transferred to the target vessel (). The metering volume is determined by the geometry of the measuring vessel (). The target vessel () can be separated from the measuring vessel () by severing (welding, gluing, cutting) the connection between () and (). The invention also relates to a method for metering media using the device () according to the invention. The device is suitable as a disposable unit and for the sterile metering of media in a non-sterile environment.
