A display device includes: a first pixel, a second pixel, and a third pixel from which lights of different colors are respectively emitted; in the first pixel, a first light conversion layer overlapping a first color filter; in the second pixel, a second light conversion layer overlapping a second color filter; and in the third pixel, a third light conversion layer overlapping a third color filter. The first light conversion layer, the second light conversion layer, and the third light conversion layer respectively include a quantum dot, and an amount of the quantum dot included in the first light conversion layer is larger than each of amounts of the quantum dot respectively included in the second light conversion layer and the third light conversion layer.

Display device

Provided is a liquid crystal display device. The liquid crystal display device includes a display panel including a liquid crystal layer, wherein a first pixel region, a second pixel region, and a third pixel region are defined in the display panel and a backlight unit configured to provide light to the display panel. A first color light emitted from the first pixel region has a red color, a second color light emitted from the second pixel region has a green color, and a third color light emitted from the third pixel region has a blue color. A first ratio at which the light passes through the first pixel region and a second ratio at which the light passes through the second pixel region is greater than a third ratio at which the light passes through the third pixel region.

Liquid crystal display panel and liquid crystal display device including the same

An apparatus for providing grayscale voltages and a display device using the same are provided. The display device includes a grayscale voltage provider that provides grayscale voltages using a first reference voltage and a second reference voltage in accordance with a selection signal. A data driver applies data voltages to data lines using the grayscale voltages and an image signal. A gate driver successively provides a gate-on voltage to the gate lines. A display panel displays an image for each frame using the data voltages and the gate-on voltage.
