An accessory drive for attachment to the end of a shaft. The drive comprises a belt pulley, a carrier with at least a first and a second planet wheel that are strongly coupled and which have differing numbers of teeth, the first planet wheel being in engagement with a first gear circulating along with the shaft, and the second planet wheel with a second gear that is rotatable relative to the shaft, an activatable and deactivatable brake being provided between a continuously stationary part and a part capable of relative rotation, and a freewheel to prevent backward relative rotation of the second gear with respect to the end of the shaft. The first and second gears are arranged radially inside the carrier, such that the freewheel is arranged between the carrier and the part capable of relative rotation and the belt pulley at least partially surrounds the freewheel, the carrier, and the brake radially and externally, and so that the belt pulley and carrier are joined in rotary engagement.

A torsionally elastic coupling for a machine part rotating about an axis, comprising an inner ring open axially in one direction, which axial opening is defined by two flank surfaces and one bottom surface, and an outer ring, having an annular axial leg extending parallel to the axis, which is received in the axial opening of the inner ring, and which is supported with respect to one flank surface of the axial opening by a guide ring, and which is connected to the other flank surface of the axial opening by means of a damping ring made of elastomeric material, the guide ring and damping ring being configured integrally and continuously with one another, and made of elastomeric material.

A belt pulley with a substantially cup-shaped profile that is delimited on one side, in at least the axial direction, by an integrally shaped-on rim flange is disclosed. The rim flange is configured as the hub ring of a torsional vibration damper, the hub ring being connected, by means of a damping ring made of elastomeric material, to an inertial ring.

Belt pulley

A torsional vibration damper having a substantially cup-shaped hub ring made from deep drawn sheet metal. The base of the hub ring has at least one orifice for mounting the damper to a machine part subject to torsional vibrations, the hub ring being joined by at least one spring element made of an elastomeric material - in a manner allowing relative rotation - to at least one inertial ring. The base is provided with an annular centering collar, extending in the axial direction, which fits around the outer periphery of the machine part in partial contact. The centering collar and the base are configured integrally and continuously with one another.

Torsional vibration damper

A rotatable machine component with a ring of resilient material secured to it in the vicinity of at least one axially projecting collar. The collar has a continuous annular groove around it that cuts into its contour radially, and the ring is secured in the groove just by snapping into it. The ring and the rotatable component rest loosely against each other, when the component is not rotating, without internal tension in the ring.

Belt pulley having a substantially cup-shaped profile that is delimited on one side, at least in the axial direction, by an integrally shaped-on rim flange is disclosed. The rim flange is configured as the hub ring of a torsional vibration damper; the hub ring is connected, by a damping ring made of elastomeric material, to an inertial ring.

A vibration absorber includes an absorber mass and at least one spring element formed of an elastomer material. The absorber mass is arranged for movement on the spring element and is movable with a phase displacement relative to vibrations introduced due to operating conditions. The spring element is fixed on a vibration generator. A supplementary spring is assigned to the spring element and acts in parallel therewith to compensate for temperature effects. The supplementary spring has a spring stiffness. An aid is provided for changing the spring stiffness of the supplementary spring.

A resilient coupling with relative rotation limitation. The coupling comprises an annular hub that fits into a concentric annular flywheel while separated from it at least to some extent by a radial interval such that the flywheel can rotate relative to the hub. A spring element of elastomeric material is accommodated between the hub and the flywheel. The hub has a first flange that extends radially outward and the flywheel has a second flange that extends radially inward such that the hub and flywheel respectively reinforce each other while permitting relative rotation. The first flange on the hub has recesses that open toward the flywheel and the second flange on the flywheel has recesses that open toward the hub. The first and second flanges overlap in the region of the recesses with the edges of the recesses forming opposing contact surfaces. The opposing contact surfaces are so delimited in the circumferential direction as to provide separation in at least one direction of the rotation.

Resilient coupling with relative rotation limitation

Apparatus for automatically inspecting and moving tires through an inspection system. The tire is placed in a pan of sand and is rotated by a device grasping the bead of the tire so that the tire becomes embedded in the sand in order to stabilize its position. A covering hood, with an attached mirror, is aligned upon lowering with the aid of conical centering guides. After the tire has been inspected and removed, a rotary shovel smooths the sand so that the pan is ready to accept another tire for inspection.
