An electrically or electromagnetically operated valve has a movable structural group with a magnetic armature, which is movable along an axis between a first and a second position to open or close the valve. The valve has a valve sleeve in which the magnetic armature is movable between the first and the second position, the magnetic armature defining on its axial sides two volumes in the valve sleeve. There is provided a throttling element elastic in the radial direction, which is arranged between the first volume and the second volume such that upon axial movement of the movable structural group it throttles an air stream between the first volume and the second volume in order to decelerate a movement of the movable structural group.

An electromagnetically or electrically operated valve possesses a closing element that is axially displaceable between a closed position and an open position. The closing element is pressure-compensated, by the pressure present on the front side of the closing element being passed to the back side thereof. Between the front and back sides the closing element is sealed radially against a surrounding structural element by means of a dynamic seal. The circumferential sealing gap varies in width in dependence on the axial position of the closing element, so that the dynamic seal seals reliably only in the closed position, while in other positions the static friction of the dynamic seal is reduced.

A valve body arrangement for a hydraulic or pneumatic valve comprises two elements between which a valve body is retained. The two elements are welded together in a first region, preferably by the laser transmission method, and clamp the valve body in a second region with a force.
