Connector () fitted to the end of a cable and provided with lateral locking means () provided so as to interact with a receptacle of a complementary device with which the plug connector is connected. The invention concerns a plug connector () equipped with compression contact terminals (). In order to clean each of the contact surfaces of at least one first compression contact terminal () of a plug connector () and of a second contact terminal () of a connector with fixed base () respectively, the invention provides for at least one first contact terminal () of the plug connector including a contact end (), Which contact end is provided with at least protuberance () mounted at the tip of its elongated part () extending in a plane perpendicular to an elongation axis () of said contact end and/or to a connection axis ().
