A range includes at least two different motor vehicles with a structural body having a central underbody part delimiting a lower part of a cab. The central underbody part of the first vehicle receives two seats. The central underbody part of the second vehicle receives four seats. Each central underbody part includes first interface elements allowing mounting thereon of components associated with the function of an internal combustion drive engine mounted on a rear structural part of the structural body which is firmly attached to the central underbody part. Each central underbody part also includes second interface elements allowing mounting thereon of components associated with the function of an electric drive motor to be mounted on the rear structural part. A rear edge of the central underbody part of each vehicle is equipped with a same interface element for connection to the rear structural part of the structural body.

Underbody for the co-installation of an electric engine and a heat engine

A body shell structure of a motor vehicle includes a side superstructure of the body shell defining on either side of the vehicle two recess portions for wheel arch housings of the vehicle connected by a floor of the vehicle. The body shell structure includes, in each of the two recess portions for wheel arch housing, a wheel arch housing part and at least one mount for attaching the rear shock absorber, assembled by edges thereof to each of the wheel arch housing parts. The wheel arch housing part defines at least one substantially oblique surface portion around and beyond the edges of the mount. The superstructure also includes a structural plate rigidly connected to an oblique surface portion of the wheel arch housing part and secured to a substantially vertical surface portion of the superstructure.

Motor vehicle bodyshell structure with reinforcements for distributing forces related to a rear shock absorber of the vehicle

A chassis of a motor vehicle optimized for absorbing a frontal impact. The chassis includes a firewall separating a passenger compartment of the vehicle from a front portion of the chassis configured to hold an engine, and a mechanism for absorbing a frontal impact including two side rails mounted on at least the front portion of the chassis and arranged on either side of the chassis, each side rail including a front portion and a rear portion assembled to overlap at least partially. The side rails are arranged such that an overlap area is below the plane of the firewall, and the rear portion of the side rail includes a material which is less compressible than the front portion of the side rail.

A chassis of a motor vehicle including a mechanism for absorbing a frontal impact including two side rails mounted on a front portion of the chassis and arranged on either side of the chassis, a front crossmember mounted under a floor of a passenger compartment of the vehicle in contact with a transmission tunnel arranged on a central axis and extending from the front crossmember towards a rear portion of the chassis. Each side rail includes one end mounted to engage with the front crossmember.
