An administration system for delivery of a pharmaceutical composition to a patient has a delivery device configured to deliver a dose of the pharmaceutical composition to the patient and a notification device in communication with the delivery device. The notification device is configured to communicate information about a status of at least one property of the delivery device. The delivery device can be a wearable automatic injector configured to be worn on the patient's skin. The delivery device of the present disclosure may allow a user or the patient to view a status of a container. For example, the delivery device of the present disclosure may provide a simple and effective visual means of displaying fill confirmation and delivery confirmation.

Administration system, delivery device, and notification device for communicating status of a medical device

The invention relates to a device for injection of a product into an injection site. The device including a needle shield for protection of a needle prior to use of the device; a housing; and a deshielder for removing the needle shield from the device. The deshielder is coupled to the needle shield and mounted on the housing in a separable manner. The deshielder may include tamper evidence features that are activated by the removal of at least one part of said deshielder. At least one part of the deshielder may be configured to be removed from the housing by exerting a force equal or less to 30 N.

The present invention relates to an injection device including a container, intended for receiving a product and provided with an injection needle and a housing receiving the container. The container is movable relative to the housing between an initial position, an insertion position, and a final position. A collapsible chamber is defined within the housing outside of the container. The chamber is collapsible with the container in the insertion position. The chamber is at least partially defined by a proximal wall and a seal element, wherein, with the container in the initial position, the proximal wall is spaced proximally from the seal element, wherein, with the container in the insertion position, the proximal wall is caused to engage the seal element, and, wherein, with the proximal wall engaging the seal element, the container is caused to move from the insertion position to the final position.

Automatic injection device with temporizing means

The invention relates to an automatic injection device including a container provided with a needle; a housing receiving a container movable relative to the housing between an initial position to an insertion position; a needle shield for receiving the needle and in which the needle is embedded prior to use of the device; and a deshielder coupled to the needle shield by a first connecting arrangement and removably assembled to the distal part of the housing by a second connecting arrangement. The first and second connecting arrangements are designed so that a rotational movement of the deshielder about the device axis of the device with respect to the housing causes an axial displacement of the needle shield in the distal direction with substantially no rotational movement of the needle shield with respect to the needle.

The present invention relates to an injection device () comprising: &#x2014;a container () receiving a product, and provided with an injection needle (), &#x2014;a housing () receiving said container, said container being movable relative to said housing between an initial position, an insertion position, and a final position, &#x2014;retaining means (), for maintaining said container in said insertion position, &#x2014;deactivating means (), for releasing said retaining means, said device being characterized in that it comprises: &#x2014;temporizing means (), for controlling the release of said retaining means until substantially all of the product contained within said container has passed through said injection needle before said container moves to said final position, and &#x2014;a needle shield () coupled with said housing () removal of said needle shield being with limited or no rotation of said needle shield. The invention also concerns a kit comprising such a device.

According to the invention, first and second locking means () are conformed to engage with each other and to permit the locking of an activation means () in at least one intermediate position between first and second positions of the activation means (). The first and second locking means () are conformed to be disengaged from each other when the protection member () is in a first position, in which a movement of a vessel contained in the device () is possible from an initial position to a position for inserting a needle contained in the vessel, and to be engaged with each other when the protection member () leaves said first position.

A connector assembly for a vial is disclosed. The connector assembly features a protective cap, a collar attachable to the rim of the vial, and a crimp cap for securing the collar to the rim. The collar features a flexible skirt provided adjacent the proximal end of the collar that is foldable about the underside portion of the vial rim. One or more ribs are provided adjacent a distal portion of the collar to seal against the stopper obturating the vial. The crimp cap can be supplied preattached to the collar in an uncrimped condition.
