A bus coupling includes an amplitude-controlled transmission circuit for generating a substantially rectangular active pulse for a transmission pulse including an active pulse and an equalizer pulse for a bus system which guides alternating voltage data and direct voltage in order to prepare a vehicle wiring system voltage for user terminals, in particular for the bus of the European Installation Bus Association. The transmission circuit operates with a transmission circuit operates with a transmission stage which includes as a transmission transistor, a transmission valve functioning as a transistor in the transmission circuit. Depending on the function, the selection line of this transmission circuit is reduced in terms of the control signal by a transistor of the inverse type to the transistor in the collector circuit as reducing transistor. A capacitor, as a separating filter for the direct voltage, is connected, on the one hand, to a connection for a bus conductor; and, on the other, to a voltage divider which is also connected to a reference voltage, a tap of the voltage divider being connected to the base of the reducing transistor.

Bus coupler for transformer-free transmission onto a bus appertaining to building system technology, in particular the European Installation Bus Association, (&ldquo;EIBA&rdquo;) said bus carrying information, comprising active pulse and equalizing pulse, and energy. It is provided that the transmission valve of a transmission signal generator, in accordance with the function, is connected to at least one bus conductor via a capacitance, which is small relative to an imaginary capacitance acting as a short circuit for the active pulses of the information, it being the case that in a Miller circuit, in accordance with the function essentially further comprising a transistor, and a drive resistor, and two current amplifier circuits, this small capacitance is transformed into a sufficiently large capacitance in order to transmit active pulses in a sufficiently loss-free manner, and energy storage for the purpose of generating the equalizing pulse being effected in a further capacitance.

A device for limiting overload currents using a semiconductor element with at least one controllable semiconductor having an electron source (source), an electron acceptor (drain) and a control electrode (gate) controlling the electron flow, which device has characteristic curves typical of a field-effect transistor (FET). In the case of alternating voltage, two FETs are connected in series, in complementary fashion. Arrangement is provided for internally obtaining the control voltage required for driving the semiconductor element from at least part of the load current and/or from at least part of the voltage drop across the semiconductor element.

In a circuit arrangement for coupling a first signal into a second electric signal formed as an alternating signal, a device is provided for compensating for effects of the coupling on the signal pattern of the second signal, particularly on the 'pulse tilt' of the second signal. In a preferred variant of the circuit arrangement, the coupling is inductive, whereby the compensation device comprises a capacitively functioning element. The circuit arrangement is particularly suited for coupling a direct-voltage signal into an alternating-signal bus.

An information separation device that having a transformer operating as a separating filter to separate alternating voltage information and transmitted direct current power. The transformer has at least one winding on a first side coupled to the dc power. A capacitor is coupled to this winding, at whose ends direct current power is made available. The transformer has one winding on an information processing side. First and second valves are arranged in a transmitting branch parallel to the capacitor, the second winding being coupled at its first end between the first and second valves. Third and fourth valves are arranged in a branch parallel to the capacitor, the second winding being coupled in series at its first and second ends between the third and fourth valves in phase opposition to the first and second valves.

Information separation device

A bus coupler for coupling transmitting and receiving stations to a two-conductor bus which feeds d-c current for coupling the on-board networks of the stations. It is designed for information traffic, for instance, with digital data transmission, for measuring and controlling and/or with analog signals for measuring and controlling and for speech transmission in that the information is superimposed as a completely symmetrical a-c voltage relative to a floating imaginary centralized ground, where the bus coupling comprises a switch for power and information which couples the information in and out, conductively separated from the power path.

An information separation device having a transformer operating as a separating filter to separate transmitted direct current power and alternating voltage information. The transformer has at least two windings on a first side holding power in reserve. Between these windings a capacitor is serially coupled that transmits information signals. The windings are coupled at their other ends to transmission lines for direct current power and alternating voltage information. The transformer has another winding on the second side that processes received information. Two controllable inverse valves are coupled by their output electrodes between the transmission lines. The control electrodes of the valves are coupled to a load-independent voltage source during a transmission signal.

A transmission link for transmitting a sequence of signals comprising pulse and interval signals, across a transmission medium from a transmitter to a receiver circuit of a receiver, whereby each pulse signal is modulated with a frequency. At least two frequencies are used to modulate the pulses, and a separate evaluation circuit is provided in the receiver for each modulating frequency. The output signals of the evaluation circuits are concatenated (linked in series) by a AND-gate circuit.

A circuit layout for an infrared space surveillance detector with a sensor and a field effect transistor following the sensor. An operational amplifier with a negative input is connected to the drain electrode of a field effect transistor. The output signal of the operational amplifier is fed back to its negative input. The stabilization of the operating voltage by the operational amplifier is utilized and the drain electrode of the field effect transistor may be supplied with a stable voltage, so that filtering of the operating voltage by a filter factor of 100 to 120 dB, that would otherwise be required, may be eliminated. It is possible further to apply a constant current and/or regulate the current supplied by utilizing the output signal of the operational amplifier to the source electrode of the field effect transistor.

Infrared space surveillance detector circuit

A circuit layout operating in the current mode for an infrared room surveillance detector includes a high impedance operational amplifier connected directly to a pyroelement used as an infrared sensor. This results in a high sensitivity detector circuit with a low noise component in the detector output signal and maintaining a high impedance detector circuit. The detector circuit has a constant amplification over a relatively broad frequency range. The reaction resistor of the operational amplifier is chosen to have a high impedance, preferably in a range higher than 10.sup.11 Ohm. It is advantageous to take the reference voltage required for the evaluation of the detector output signal from the operational amplifier, so that aside from the simplified circuit layout, no further structural parts capable of increasing the interference sensitivity of the detector circuit are required. To further increase the electromagnetic compatibility, the threshold value comparator stage may also be located in the detector housing.
