A method for producing a sealing ring comprises cutting a sheet-metal strip to a length of a ring circumference using laser cutting; forming the sheet-metal strip into a ring shape having first and second mutually contacting edge surfaces; and joining the first and second mutually contacting edges using laser welding so as to form a substance-to-substance bond.

Method for the production of a sealing ring

A springy contact element for contacting first and second housing parts has a sheet metal tab formed as a unitary part of the sheet metal of the first housing part. The sheet metal tab has a base adjoining a sheet metal edge and a contact surface spaced from the base. The contact surface rests electrically conductingly against the second housing part. The sheet metal tab has a longitudinal center axis extending from the base to the contact surface. The sheet metal tab has a cold-formed section having a thickness reduced by cold forming relative to a thickness of the sheet metal. The base is wider than a width of the sheet metal tab in the area from the base to the contact surface, wherein the width is measured transversely to the longitudinal center axis. The cold-formed section extends past the base and the sheet metal edge into the sheet metal.

Short contact element between housing parts

A springy contact element to be arranged between electrically conducting housing parts, wherein a first housing part has a sheet metal which can be shaped and has a sheet metal tab located within a slot of the sheet metal and forming a unitary part of the sheet metal, is formed by cold forming the sheet metal tab. The sheet metal tab has a thickness reduced relative to a thickness of the sheet metal by cold forming the springy contact element, wherein the springy contact element has an arc-shaped tab portion projecting out of a plane of the sheet metal. The springy contact element has a base portion and is connected with the base portion to the sheet metal. The springy contact element has a support area located at a spacing relative to the base portion, wherein the support area of the springy contact element is supported on at least one support surface of the sheet metal. The at least one support surface of the sheet metal extends transversely to a longitudinal tab axis of the sheet metal tab away from a first longitudinal slot edge and engages underneath the support area.

The invention relates to a fan wheel for a turbo charger. Fan wheel

A support arrangement for mechanically securing and electrically contacting electronic components has a support member consisting of an electrically conducting material and having a contacting side. The support member has perpendicularly projecting hollow pins at the contacting side. The hollow pins are stamped into the support member. The electronic components have connecting tabs including an opening. The tabs are placed onto the hollow pins. The hollow pins project through the openings and the tabs. The heads of the hollow pins are then mechanically deformed and engage radially outwardly the circumferential edge of the openings of the tabs.

Support arrangement for mechanically securing and electrically

The support for a printed circuit board, positioned at a distance parallel to the support, includes a base plate and spacers for spacing the printed circuit board from the base plate. The spacers have a head for connecting the spacers to the printed circuit board. The spacers have a bottom portion connected to fastening elements of the base plate provided at a side facing the printed circuit board. The bottom portions are flat and parallel to the base plate. The fastening elements have securing projections for the bottom portions. Each bottom portion has at least two edges engaged by the securing projections. The fastening elements have abutments for the bottom portions, wherein the bottom portions rest at the abutments when engaged by the securing projections.
